WEB Notes: Just days ago Trump shouted down Qatar for supporting terrorism saying, “Stop funding, stop teaching hate, and stop the killing.” Just days before that Trump took credit for Saudi Arabia’s Navel blockade of Qatar. But today, Qatar is rewarded with a $12 billion dollar deal that will send F15 fighter jets their way. This is yet one example of many of the United States supporting terrorism. A terminal at the Port of Charleston in South Carolina will reopen and the safety zone has been lifted, the U.S. Coast Guard said on Thursday, after investigating a threat of a “dirty bomb” on a container ship.

At least seven people were killed and 59 others were injured in an explosion at the entrance of a kindergarten in eastern China on Thursday, city government said.

Oil prices are down over 10 percent since May 25, when OPEC, Russia and other producers agreed to extend oil output cuts. The reason is reports of growing US crude stockpiles – something Saudi Arabia would like to change.

The oil-rich kingdom owns a large refinery on the US Gulf Coast, and in order to manipulate the numbers, Saudi could slow down exports to America.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The special counsel appointed to investigate Russian influence in the 2016 presidential campaign is now examining whether President Donald Trump tried to obstruct justice, it has been reported.

Accusations of obstruction arose last month when Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. MOGADISHU, Somalia (AP) — At least 17 people were killed in the night-long siege of a popular Mogadishu restaurant by al-Shabab Islamic extremists that was ended Thursday morning by security forces. Somali survivors early described harrowing scenes in which attackers hunted patrons of the popular Pizza House restaurant. The injured were taken by ambulances.

Al-Shabab claimed responsibility as the restaurant was under siege. Soldiers surrounded the restaurant building and used guns mounted on the backs of vehicles to neutralize the militants. In a 91-page decision, Judge James Boasberg ruled that the federal permits authorizing the pipeline to cross the Missouri River just upstream of the Standing Rock reservation, which were hastily issued by the Trump administration just days after the inauguration, violated the law in certain critical respects.

The Court did not determine whether pipeline operations should be shut off and has requested additional briefing on the subject and a status conference next week.

The U.S. military has moved a truck-mounted, long-range rocket launcher from Jordan to a U.S. base in Al-Tanf, Syria, near the Iraqi and Jordanian borders, according to two regional intelligence sources.

Reuters reports that the sources said the U.S. had moved the so-called High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) into the desert garrison, which has seen a buildup in recent weeks as tensions have continued to mount between U.S.-backed forces and Iranian-backed forces, as Anti-Media has previously reported.   Continue reading “US Deploys Long Range Rocket Launcher for War With Syrian Government”

President Donald Trump lashed out on Twitter early on Thursday after a report that he was under investigation for possible obstruction of justice by the special counsel probing alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.

FAIRFIELD (KRON) — An active shooter at Travis Air Force Base has prompted the base to go into lockdown.

The base issued a security alert shortly after 3:30 p.m. asking people to shelter in place and to lock doors and windows.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — SFPD says that four people have been killed, including the gunman, after a shooting at a UPS facility in the area of 17th Street and San Bruno in San Francisco. Two people were also injured.

At least one person has died after a very powerful but deep earthquake struck the border between Mexico and Guatemala, sending shockwaves that could be felt by around 12 million people across neighbouring countries.
