President Trump on Thursday refused to back down from critics who’ve ripped him for failing to condemn protests surrounding the removal of Confederate monuments, doubling down on his belief the statues should stay and questioning if the progressive movement would turn on America’s Founding Fathers next.
In the aftermath of a deadly car attack Saturday — following clashes at a largely white nationalist rally protesting the University of Virginia’s plan to remove a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee — Trump bemoaned the accelerated effort by many on the left to take down other symbols of the Confederacy.

WEB Notes: Here we go folks, silencing free speech. Many people would say, ‘hey they are racists we do not want to hear that’. Free speech is free speech. If you do not want to listen to a fool walk away or close your browser window. It is that simple. Banning speech you do not like is not the answer, it closes the door to other thoughts and silences our mind and moves us in a direction of defined thought. One day they will ban Christian’s who call Satan the anti-Christ. Those banned Christians will be right in their condemnation, but the world will not realize it. This is all a stepping stone for that event. Stay alert and awake, we have some time yet, but these are examples for us of what many of us will face during that time…

A suspected car thief who climbed up a 17-story loading crane to evade the police plummeted 160 feet to his death on Wednesday night, ending an hours-long standoff.
The man, who has not been identified, spent hours perched on the ledge of a loading crane over the Port of Los Angeles in California on Wednesday while crisis negotiators and a SWAT team tried to approach him. Removing monuments from the Civil War to erase history is a mistake.
This won’t be a popular opinion, and I’m okay with that. Because for now, we still have freedom of speech.
While I can understand why some people would strongly disagree , I’d like to respectfully offer a different perspective. My opinion that those monuments should be left alone isn’t because I support the horrible things that have been done in our history. It’s exactly the opposite. Don Hall and his girlfriend were sitting in their living room earlier this year when they noticed police lights flashing outside the couple’s upstate New York home.
When the 70-year-old Army veteran greeted Oneida County sheriff’s deputies he was given a document saying that Hall had to hand over his six guns – four long guns and two pistols — to law enforcement because he had been deemed “mentally defective.”
Shocked, Hall told the police he had no history of mental issues. The deputies asserted that he must have triggered the order under New York state’s Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act, and then the officers left with his guns. Money laundering is big business in Australia because regulations do not cover lawyers, real estate agents, accountants, and CEOs ignoring warnings from police.

KKK leader seeking Charlottesville rally has history as FBI informant
June 6, 2017 – The contingent of the Ku Klux Klan that has applied to hold a July rally in Charlottesville is reportedly led by an FBI informant who has been charged in the stabbing of another Klan member.
In December, authorities in North Carolina arrested Chris Barker, the self-identified leader, or “imperial wizard,” of the Loyal White Knights of the KKK, based in Pelham, North Carolina. That same group has applied to hold a rally on the steps of the Charlottesville Circuit Court on July 8, as first reported by The Daily Progress on Monday.

Civil rights leaders in Arizona are calling on Gov. Doug Ducey (R) to remove Confederate monuments in the state.
The renewed push came, just days after the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
“These monuments of terror, these monuments of hatred must come down,” said Rev. Reginald Walton, the Pastor for Phillips Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. “They have no place in our society.
