Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein never once checked in with city cops in the eight-plus years since a Manhattan judge ordered him to do so every 90 days — and the NYPD says it’s fine with that.
After being labeled a worst-of-the-worst, “Level 3” sex offender in 2011, Epstein should have reported in person to verify his address 34 times before he was arrested Saturday on federal child sex-trafficking charges. JERUSALEM, PALESTINE — While Israel tries to portray a friendly face to the outside world, internally it is promoting racism and violence at levels that are more alarming than ever before. A course to prepare young high school students traveling overseas to be good “ambassadors” stands in contrast to racist policies and the advancement of a military that is encouraged to exercise unprecedented violence against civilians. Despite a moderate economic recovery, President Emmanuel Macron’s government continues to flounder in unpopularity. A recent poll found only 1 in 4 people had a positive view of the French president and his government, while 66% had an outright negative view. Every regime under siege has a choice: improve its performance and unify the country or . . . crack down on critical opposition. The Macron regime has decidedly opted for the latter, proposing yet another law to destroy that pesky last bastion of free speech in France: the Internet. Continue reading “Dark Days in France”
Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., signed a bill into law on Tuesday making young illegal immigrants eligible for the Medicaid program in California, making it the first state to offer such taxpayer-funded health benefits to low-income adults age 25 and younger regardless of their immigration status.
State officials said they expected the plan to cover about 90,000 people and cost taxpayers $98 million. California already covered children 18 and younger regardless of immigration status. Continue reading “California becomes 1st state to give taxpayer-funded health benefits to illegal immigrants”
Sir Keir Starmer says he wants to see Labour’s rulebook changed so that in a clear case of antisemitism a member is automatically expelled.
The shadow Brexit secretary’s comments, which follow a similar call earlier this week from Gordon Brown, come as the party braces itself for Wednesday night’s broadcast of a potentially damaging BBC Panorama investigation into its handling of the issue. Is it satire, is it science fiction or are city council members and police in Philadelphia completely losing their minds?
City officials and police in Philadelphia have been using what they call an “acoustic deterrent” (but it is described by a local councilwoman as a “sonic weapon”) to keep the city’s children and young adults away from certain recreational areas at night. Continue reading “Philadelphia Is Using A SONIC WEAPON To Keep Kids Away From Parks! (Not The Onion!)”
Israel’s education minister has likened intermarriage among diaspora Jews, and particularly North American Jews, to the Holocaust in a recent cabinet meeting. A spokesman for Education Minister Rafi Peretz confirmed Tuesday that Peretz said that “assimilation is like a second Holocaust.”
Peretz, of the Union of Right-Wing Parties, made the statement, first reported by Barak Ravid of Israel’s Channel 13 News, during a session on the state of world Jewry, where ministers discussed the global threat of anti-Semitism and other issues concerning diaspora Jews. With scant public notice, federal immigration officials are relying on databases run by foreign police and militaries to check whether migrants crossing the United States border have gang affiliations, which would allow officials to detain and eventually deport them.
The information is being provided through a new “fusion” intelligence-gathering center in El Salvador that is funded by the State Department and works in tandem with the Homeland Security Department. Continue reading “Immigration Officials Use Secretive Gang Databases to Deny Migrant Asylum Claims”
Yet another US individual faces charges related to a recording of them licking and returning a carton of Blue Bell ice cream to a supermarket freezer. Although there are slight differences in the two cases, police argue the intent remains the same.
Despite having 36 years worth of life experience on this Earth, Louisiana resident Lenise Martin III found himself on the receiving end of some ice cold justice on Saturday after he posted a Facebook video of him picking out a carton of Blue Bell ice cream at a supermarket, then licking and even fingering the treat before returning it to the chilled shelf. African migrants are expressing frustration over the Trump administration’s metering policy, which caps the number of asylum seekers who can enter the U.S. each day.
“We are not happy with the U.S. system, especially for the fact that you see that the number is not moving. Very few people are taken,” Luis, a migrant from Cameroon, said to the Los Angeles Times. “If you see people jumping over the river, it is because they are tired of staying here.”
