An 83-year-old retired engineer in Michigan underpaid his property taxes by $8.41. In response, Oakland County seized his property, auctioned it off to settle the debt, and pocketed nearly $24,500 in excess revenue from the sale.

Under Michigan law, it was all legal. And hardly uncommon.  Continue reading “A Michigan Man Underpaid His Property Taxes By $8.41. The County Seized His Property, Sold It—and Kept the Profits.”

In 2018, Detroit had 25 times the national average of reported justifiable homicides. The police chief of Detroit, James Craig, supports the residents’ right to self defense. He supports the issuance of concealed carry permits. From detroitnews.com:

The county’s report shows there were 289 homicides in Detroit in 2018, although the county lists all homicides, whereas Detroit, like most cities, doesn’t include justifiable homicides in its report because those aren’t crimes. New York, NY — Despite marijuana being legal in some form in over half the country, police officers across the country still take pride in kidnapping, caging, and even killing people they catch with this plant. Despite a major majority of Americans supporting legal weed, cops still go out of their way to prosecute people for possessing it, even CBD. The ridiculous nature of depriving people of their freedom over a plant came to a head this week in New York after “hero” cops took to bragging about a massive “marijuana” bust. But because these cops were so gung-ho on arresting people for a plant, they are now the laughing stock of the internet after they bragged about seizing 106 pounds of entirely LEGAL hemp. Keene, NH — Since General John Stark coined the phrase in 1809, the state motto of New Hampshire has been “Live Free or Die.” As the police state continues to encroach on our freedoms and oppress individuals, this motto has become laughable as prisons are filled with non-violent drug offenders and victimless “criminals.” The state should definitely rethink this motto, especially considering the following case of a child tackled by a cop for walking away from him. Perhaps the new motto should read, “Live as free as we arbitrarily say you can and if you get too free, we will tackle you from behind and beat your ass.” Yeah, that sounds much more accurate.  Continue reading “Video Shows Cop Smash 15yo Boy Into a Wall, Slam Him to the Ground for Walking Away”

One of the interceptor missiles failed to strike its target and another fell inside Syria. The interceptor landed intact in Syria and is believed to have been swiftly recovered by Syrian military forces and handed over to the Russians.  Continue reading “‘Crucial’ Israeli missile technology handed to Russia by Syria forces”

The sky was blue, the wind light, the temperature mild, and there were thousands of Second Amendment activists at the Rally for the Second Amendment on the 2nd of November, 2019. Counting was imprecise without a good overhead image of the crowd. About half an hour before the rally I counted a quarter and estimated about 500. The crowd swelled as start time approached. My best estimate was over 2,000 activists were in the crowd at peak attendance. Te rally started on time at 12:30. Continue reading “2nd Amendment Rally on 2 November in Washington, D.C.”
