I have been on this site throwing my two cents in for a few years now, so I’m going to speak my mind about a few things.

As far as the New Testament goes, in my teachings, I have been called everything from “legalist” to liar, but I thought of something tonight that I want to share with my brothers and sisters. Has it dawned on any of you that if AMERICA had adhered tightly to New Testament doctrine  that we would still have our laws as they were written? We would have outed the communist before now. We would have stopped them in their tracks, first for subverting scripture, and then for subverting law.  Continue reading “Let’s Piss Off The “Christians””

(Bloomberg) — U.S. meat markets had so far been shielded from the effects of a deadly pig disease wiping out Asian herds. That’s starting to change.

As pork supplies plummet in China, the world’s top consumer is desperate for meat and is ramping up imports. As a result, it’s becoming harder to set longer-term protein contracts amid concerns over market volatility and changing trade flows, according to Jayson Penn, chief executive officer of Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., the No. 2 U.S. chicken producer.  Continue reading “Pig Plague Starts Rippling Through American Meat Markets”

He came of age in Queens, built Trump Tower, starred in “The Apprentice,” bankrupted his businesses six times, and drew cheering crowds and angry protesters to Fifth Avenue after his election. Through it all, President Trump — rich, bombastic and to many Americans the epitome of a New Yorker — was intertwined with the city he called his lifelong home.

A couple of years ago, Laura Hart had been through a divorce, her car was 11 years old, and she wanted a new vehicle. “Almost, ‘I earned it,’ really” is how Hart says she felt at the time.

She’d been through a tough experience “while maintaining a full-time job and raising two kids and things like that, so when I got to the point where I felt comfortable to take on a car loan again, I was fairly proud and ready to do that.”  Continue reading “The 7-Year Car Loan: Watch Your Wallet”

Despite a record number of illegal alien apprehensions at the southern border in fiscal year 2019, Democrats have unveiled a plan to admit a minimum of 50,000 “environmental migrants” every year beginning in 2020. In short, the proposal being pushed by Rep. Lydia Velázquez (D-N.Y.) is the ugly stepchild of the Dream Act and the New Green Deal.

“America will continue to stand tall as a safe haven for immigrants,” said Velázquez of the Climate Displaced Person’s Act of 2019, which would create a new protected status for so-called climate displaced persons (CDPs) that would be separate from existing U.S. refugee admissions programs.  Continue reading “Democrats Move to Create New Protected Class – Climate Refugees”

BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Iran has stepped in to prevent the ouster of Iraqi Prime Minister Abdel Abdul Mahdi by two of Iraq’s most influential figures amid weeks of anti-government demonstrations, sources close to both men told Reuters.

Populist Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr demanded this week that Abdul Mahdi call an early election to quell the biggest mass protests in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein in 2003. The demonstrations are fueled by anger at corruption and widespread economic hardship.  Continue reading “Iran intervenes to prevent ousting of Iraqi prime minister – sources”
