President Donald Trump has scrapped a plan to freeze more than $4 billion in foreign aid in a move that would have been another end run around Congress’ power of the purse.

The president’s decision Thursday to forgo a “rescission” comes after another internal tug of war between his budget advisers and Cabinet officials. But the fiscal hawks in Trump’s corner, failing again to sell him on spending restraint, blamed Congress for souring him on the idea.  Continue reading “Trump kills plan to cut billions in foreign aid”

In its inaugural year, Portland’s free legal assistance program for immigrants provided at least 341 people with lawyers to represent them in deportation hearings according to the initiative’s manager, Stephen Manning.

The program, called Universal Representation, also helped at least 105 would-be refugees apply for asylum. And of the people served, 23 were unaccompanied immigrant children, Manning, the founder and director of the Immigration Law Lab, said in an interview Tuesday.  Continue reading “Roughly 450 migrants received free legal help from Portland to fight deportation, seek asylum”

Since cannibalism is found throughout the animal kingdom and therefore is something natural, perhaps it is time for humans to rethink the “ultimate taboo” against eating human flesh, Newsweek proposes in an article Wednesday.

There is nothing necessarily unethical or unreasonable about eating human flesh, declare psychologists Jared Piazza and Neil McLatchie of Lancaster University, but careful reasoning over the merits of cannibalism is often “overridden by our feelings of repulsion and disgust.”  Continue reading “Newsweek: Time to Rethink Taboo on Cannibalism?”

Massive football field sized drones flying in the stratosphere, beaming down toxic 5G radiation into the earth, into the ocean, into our homes, into our bodies. Sounds like something out of a science fiction nightmare.

But if the sponsors of the HAWK30 program, tech giant SoftBank of Japan, defense contractor AeroVironment of California and Alphabet, the parent company of Google, have their way that nightmare will become a reality this fall for some Hawai’i residents and eventually for much of the world’s population.  Continue reading “Giant 5G Drones are Being Planned for the Skies Over Hawaii then the World”

The Washington State University assistant chief of police says he is “disappointed” after a new gun law took effect.

The law, called Initiative 1639, forbids anyone under the age of 21 from purchasing a semi-automatic rifle, according to the website of the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. The law also prohibits the selling or transferring of semi-automatic rifles to anyone under 21.  Continue reading “WSU police ‘disappointed’ after new state gun law takes effect”

I HAVE PONDERED OVER EXACTLY “HOW” THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE AND BLACKS LAW (WHICH IS RABBINIC BULLSHIT) MANAGED TO USURP THE BILL OF RIGHTS AS AMERICAN LAW, AND HOW IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED AS OUR LEGAL SYSTEM.

THE JEWS, WHO WERE “RUNNING THE SHOW” AFTER RECONSTRUCTION, OBVIOUSLY BEGAN TO PIT THE BILL OF RIGHTS AGAINST ITSELF, IN AN ATTEMPT TO OVERTHROW OUR AMERICAN GOVERNMENT. IN OTHER WORDS, WHEN DOES “FREEDOM OF SPEECH” BECOME TREASON?  Continue reading “KOYOTE MEMORIES”

Wikipedia, the online Encyclopedia, which has been routinely accused of left wing bias, has a list of ICE facilities under a section titled “concentration and internment camps,” and is keeping it there despite critics requesting it be removed.

The list of ICE facilities reappeared on the concentration camps page after Democrats, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, used the rhetoric to describe US holding centers on the border with Mexico.  Continue reading “Wikipedia Has ICE Facilities Listed Under ‘Concentration And Internment Camps’ Section”

A new analysis reveals that the United States is expected to be the main contributor to a “looming carbon time bomb.”

Released Tuesday by human and environmental rights group Global Witness, the report (pdf) shows how the U.S. is on track to dwarf other nations’ shares of new oil and gas production over the next decade. In fact, says the analysis, 61 percent of all new global production is likely to come from the United States.  Continue reading “US Set to Blow Other Countries Away With ‘Staggering’ Scale of New Oil and Gas Production”
