LOS ANGELES – A massive postal distribution center in South Los Angeles has been evacuated late Wednesday morning after reports of a bomb in the building.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene, and all the employees were escorted out of the building. Police say there were no injuries and no evidence of any explosive devices after the K9 search was complete. The DoJ is officially considering whether to launch high-profile federal investigations into a handful of mostly Democratic governors who adopted regulations requiring hospitals to return COVID-19 positive patients to nursing homes or other long-term care facilities, a blunder that has been described as perhaps the biggest policy error of the entire US outbreak.
Put another way – the DoJ (which Dems will undoubtedly castigate for ‘bowing to political pressure from the administration’) is trying to prove that Gov Andrew Cuomo really did kill grandma. A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection to at least one of the two shooting deaths amid the unrest Tuesday night in Kenosha, Wis., Illinois police confirmed on Wednesday.
Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested in his hometown of Antioch, Ill., Wednesday on suspicion of intentional first-degree homicide, Commander Norman Johnson of the Antioch Police Department said. NSSF, the trade association for the firearm industry, updated retail survey-based estimates and concluded that nearly 5 million Americans purchased a firearm for the very first time in 2020. NSSF surveyed firearm retailers which reported that 40 percent of sales were conducted to purchasers who have never previously owned a firearm. Wisconsin’s Democrat governor might not be doing enough to combat ongoing riots in Kenosha after the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, Acting Deputy Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Ken Cuccinelli said Tuesday.
“The instant violence that occurs — wanton destruction, the violent opportunists that arise — this is a great cause for concern across America, to be seeing this sort of blatant mob violence right below the surface explode to the top,” Cuccinelli said during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Story.” with Martha MacCallum. Protests following the police shooting of Jacob Blake continued for a third night Tuesday into Wednesday as police deployed tear gas, flash bangs and rubber bullets upon protesters and erected a fence around the Kenosha County Courthouse.

On August 2, lockdown measures were implemented in Melbourne, Australia, that were so draconian that Australian news commentator Alan Jones said on Sky News: “People are entitled to think there is an ‘agenda to destroy western society.’”
