GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) — Residents at nursing and rehabilitation facility in Greeley organized a protest against Colorado’s coronavirus restrictions. On Thursday, about 20 residents gathered outside Fairacres Manor, many in wheelchairs, holding signs that read “Rather die from COVID than loneliness,” and “Prisoners in our own home,” and “Give us freedom.” Continue reading “Longterm Care Residents In Greeley Protest COVID-19 Restrictions”
I mentioned in a recent article that the weird thing about this recession is that it is the only one in which personal income has gone up during a recession. That, of course, is because of government assistance, which is making it so we don’t have to feel the pain of a recession that the government, itself, caused — through its massive debt, tax breaks for the 1%, reliance on the Fed to solve government’s problems, and most currently through its forced economic shutdown as a response to COVID-19 — something that even the WHO now says was failed policy that should never have happened — even though they helped make sure it did happen! WASHINGTON — In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the defense industry began adjusting its facilities to avoid major outbreaks that could shut down production lines for days or weeks at a time. And now that those changes are in place, the U.S. Army’s top acquisition official thinks they should remain so for good.
Speaking to reporters during the Association of the U.S. Army’s annual conference, Bruce Jette, assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology, said he sees long-term benefits from maintaining the kind of social distancing protective measures put in place across industry.
The leaders of Greece’s fascist Golden Dawn party were sentenced to prison on Wednesday for running a criminal gang linked with hate crimes.
Presiding judge Maria Lepenioti handed down 13-year jail terms to six former lawmakers, including Golden Dawn’s leader Nikos Mihaloliakos, a 62-year-old mathematician and Holocaust denier, at the Athens Criminal Appeals Court. Continue reading “Greek neo-Nazi chief sentenced to 13 years in prison”
DENVER (AP) — An armed security guard for a television station who is suspected of fatally shooting a man following an altercation after opposing protests was acting in self-defense when he opened fire, a lawyer representing his family said Monday.
Matthew Dolloff, 30, was being held in jail for investigation of first-degree murder following Saturday afternoon’s shooting near Civic Center Park as protesters filed out of the park following the demonstrations — a “Patriot Muster” and a “BLM-Antifa Soup Drive” counterprotest. Grandparents with a pro-police flag in their front yard in Seattle, Washington, were targeted in a drive-by shooting on Friday.
KIRO 7 reports that the grandparents had a “thin blue line American flag” in their yard in support of the Seattle Police Department. They noted that “derogatory” comments had been made toward them over the flag, prior to the shooting. Continue reading “Grandparents with Pro-Police Flag Targeted in Drive-By Shooting”
A man was murdered for his political preferences, and it has scarcely attracted a peep from the national media – and even Republican politicians have been relatively quiet about it.
If Lee Keltner, the victim of the Denver shooting, was left-wing, gay, or an ethnic minority, this would not just have been front-page news for days – but there’d be riots, looting, and Al Sharpton getting on a private jet already. Another day, another fuzzy picture of a night time fire set by violent leftists suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Today’s edition features a pickup truck in Vancouver, Washington, just north of Portland (duh), that was adorned with Trump flags. That is until crazed arsonists decided to light the flags afire, and the flames spread to torch the whole truck. Continue reading “Truck With Trump Flags Torched By Arsonists Near Portland”

This is the most atrocious display of the elite ruling class indifference to American suffering I have ever seen.

Statesville, NC — When parents send their children off to school everyday, they do so thinking that the school will protect them and take care of them while they learn. All too often, however, as frequent readers of TFTP know, school children become victims of the police state. As the video below illustrates, even a 7-year-old autistic child can fall prey to school cops playing their role in the school to prison pipeline.
A little boy was handcuffed and held face down on the floor for 40 minutes by the school resource officer. Now, because the Statesville Police department never held officer Michael Fattaleh accountable for his actions, the boy’s mother filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Women in France are being forced to wear masks during childbirth, with doctors given the power to refuse to treat anyone who chooses not to wear one.
French mothers have expressed their outrage at the mask requirement, pointing out that someone exercising in a fitness centre in the country is exempt from wearing one, but pregnant women must wear one during childbirth – a practice which is not followed in the UK or the US.
