Our internet has been out since yesterday afternoon. Our Verizon mobile wi-fi, which is our back up, is running as slow as a sloth on Quaaludes.

We were able to get two posts up this morning before the wi-fi slowed down to the point that it would no longer allow us to go forward.

Putting up articles with the mobile wi-fi is impossible, we will be lucky if this notice goes up.

We are supposed to have our internet back at 4:00 this afternoon. If so we will get everything caught up then and tomorrow we will be contacting Verizon to praise their excellent service.

Apologies.

What started as an average day for Ryan Chaney turned into “a genocide of metal” as he found himself pulling people from the wreckage of a mass-casualty crash in Fort Worth on Thursday morning.

Chaney, an independent trucker from Argyle, was driving south on I-35 to work, where he hauls power poles for Sabre Industries. The 6 a.m. traffic moved at about 60 mph on mostly dry roads.  Continue reading “Man tried to save trapped drivers as cars crashed in deadly I-35 pileup in Fort Wort”

I don’t care who you voted for, or your thoughts on the election. Joe Biden is the President and as much as I try to stay out of politics, his proposed tax plan is now the greatest threat to destroy family owned farms and ranches that America has ever seen. According to Farm Progress Magazine, “Biden has two features in his(estate tax) plan, and one is unfortunate, but the other is disastrous for farmers.”  Continue reading “America’s Family Owned Farms Now Face the Greatest Threat to Their Existence”

One southwest county in Missouri has a message for Joe Biden and his Democrat gun grabbers: ‘Don’t try that s**t here.’

The Newton County Commission passed an ordinance Feb. 3 that both blocks the implementation of unconstitutional federal gun control laws but also makes it a crime to try to enforce them.  Continue reading “Missouri County Passes Ordinance Calling for Arrest of Feds Who Enforce Unconstitutional Gun Laws — this is how you do it”

Back in May we reported that New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo, Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, MD and Executive Deputy Commissioner Sally Dreslin’s actions led to thousands of deaths in New York state.

Yaacov Apelbaum at the Illustrated Primer shared that these New York politicians are accountable for thousands of nursing home deaths because of their insane directives related to the China coronavirus. Just because you’re done with a Prozac pill, it doesn’t mean the pill is done. In fact, when you swallow something like an antidepressant, that’s not the end of the drug’s journey in the world. It’s the beginning.

Most pharmaceutical drugs, including psychoactive medications such as fluoxetine (made famous under the Prozac brand), are only partially absorbed by the body when they’re ingested. Continue reading “A Peculiar Side Effect of Prozac: Fish Swimming in Our Waste Lose Their Individuality”

One town’s police contract guaranteed a retiring lieutenant $121,000 for unused sick time. Another’s promises officers six months pay with no work required as a parting retirement benefit. In another contract, cops get paid $109 an hour for side gigs like monitoring traffic at construction sites.

Despite attempts to rein in police union contracts in New Jersey, costly provisions remain common, an unprecedented analysis by the Asbury Park Press and ProPublica found. The news outlets identified contract clauses throughout the state that protect officer payouts that cost the public hundreds of millions of dollars. Florida has no income tax. Tens of thousands of middle-class and wealthy families living in tax burden blue states are packing up their bags and moving to the tax-friendly Sunshine State. While tropical weather and lower taxes are a relief for many Northerners who have moved, many are now finding out that property insurance rates are out of control.

Florida’s Office of Insurance Regulation had approved a wave of insurance rate increases due to soaring litigation costs, higher catastrophe claim losses following multiple natural disasters over the past few years, and rising reinsurance costs.
