Rutgers to Require COVID-19 Vaccine for Students
Rutgers University will require the COVID-19 vaccine for students who are enrolled for the 2021 fall semester.
Assurances from the federal government that vaccines will be available for all Americans by the end of May and assessments by public health experts prompted university leaders to adjust the vaccine requirements for the fall semester. The final results in the election for the 24th Knesset are in and their bottom line is that Benjamin Netanyahu lost. He defined victory as a Knesset majority made up of five parties – Likud, Shas, United Torah Judaism, Religious Zionism and Yamina, even though Yamina’s Naftali Bennett refused to commit to joining in advance – and he failed to achieve even that low bar. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The mayor of Oakland, California, on Tuesday announced a privately funded program that will give low-income families of color $500 per month with no rules on how they can spend it.
The program is the latest experiment with a “guaranteed income,” an idea that giving poor people a set amount of money each month helps ease the stresses of poverty that often lead to poor health while hindering their ability to find full-time work.

Vice President Kamala Harris will hold a joint discussion on “empowering women and girls” with former President Bill Clinton, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women.
The Clinton Foundation announced on Tuesday that the discussion would take place as part of a virtual event with college students from around the world on Friday. Besides Harris, other speakers will include Mayor Muriel Bowser, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, her daughter Chelsea and Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) on Tuesday announced she will not vote for any of Biden’s white nominees unless they’re lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer.
“I am a no vote on the floor, on all non diversity nominees,” Duckworth said as reported by Fox News’ Chad Pergram. “You know, I will vote for racial minorities and I will vote for LGBTQ. But anybody else I’m not voting for.”

Duckworth was joined in her protest by Senator Mazie Hinono (D-HI), both of whom also demanded Biden nominate more Asians.

Duckworth says Asian-American lawmakers were told the USTR and White House budget director would be Asian-American. But after Neera Tanden's nomination collapsed, she said it appears the White House is going in a different direction.

Duckworth praised Biden's comments to the retreat last night about violence against Asian-Americans, but after he got off, things get contentious when White House deputy chief Jen O'Malley Dillon addressed the concerns over lack of AAPI representation.

Two days after 10 people were murdered at a grocery store in Colorado, a man was arrested at an Atlanta supermarket with a semiautomatic rifle, a shotgun and four handguns. The man also was wearing body armor and had a cache of ammunition, according to police.

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a ruling stating Americans do not have an inherent right to carry firearms, whether it be concealed or open carry.
“The US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit just ruled that THERE IS NO RIGHT TO CARRY – either openly or concealed in public. This ruling impacts RTC laws in AK, HI, CA, AZ, OR, WA, & MT. The Department of Homeland Security is considering monitoring the travel of domestic extremists and expanding its use of the No Fly List, law enforcement sources told POLITICO.
The discussions are part of the Biden administration’s strategy of treating domestic terror as a national security threat, and not just a law enforcement problem. They’re also part of broader conversations in government about how to use tools developed for the Global War on Terror to combat domestic extremism. A Broward County District Court Judge, Dale C. Cohen, has taken parental rights from the mother of a young boy in the name of ‘health and safety,’ as the judge labeled the mother a ‘danger’ to the child after she posted a picture of herself on social media without a mask.
Melanie Joseph talked with Stew Peters on ‘Patriotically Correct’ on Tuesday, and explained that Judge Cohen is restricting her visitation until she is vaccinated, and until COVID is completely gone. In addition, the judge ordered that if Melanie is to see her son, he must wear a mask at all times, despite an asthma diagnosis.
