Alta Sierra, CA — Video and audio was released this week illustrating the horrifying effects of sending untrained armed militants to deal with the mentally ill instead of professionals. On February 4, 33-year-old Sage Crawford’s two children watched from just a few feet away as Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies killed their mom who was in need of mental health help and received police bullets instead.
According to police, dispatchers received a call of a woman walking down Alta Sierra Drive with her two small children. President Biden has not backed down from his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending proposal, and House Democrats are pushing full steam ahead on making his vision a legislative reality. But a top budget watchdog just warned that the budget-busting legislation, which costs roughly $13,260 per federal taxpayer, is full of spending that has nothing to do with the pandemic.
“Only about 1 percent of the entire package goes toward COVID vaccines, and 5 percent is truly focused on public health needs surrounding the pandemic,” the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) warned on Wednesday. Jefferson County, West Virginia, is now a Second Amendment Sanctuary.
The resolution passed with an overwhelming 4-0 vote on Thursday evening.
“Yesterday, I made a post letting the citizens of Jefferson County know that a resolution will be brought to the table to vote in favor of Jefferson County becoming a Second Amendment Sanctuary county for law abiding citizens,” Jefferson County Commissioner Tricia Jackson wrote on Facebook. “I am pleased to announce that the resolution passed overwhelmingly at 4-0. JAKARTA, Feb 18 (Reuters) – Indonesia’s capital Jakarta is threatening residents with fines of up to 5 million rupiah ($356.89) for refusing COVID-19 vaccines, an unusually stiff penalty aimed at ensuring compliance with a new regulation making inoculations mandatory.
Deputy Jakarta governor Ahmad Riza Patria said city authorities were merely following rules and such sanctions were a last resort in Jakarta, which accounts for about a quarter of the archipelago nation’s more than 1.2 million coronavirus infections.
