MHRA granted emergency use authorization for the Pfizer BioNTech mRNA shots last December. It also approved the Oxford-AstraZeneca viral vector vaccine and Moderna mRNA shots for emergency use.
The Centers for Disease Control manages the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) in the United States. It allows healthcare providers and any other American to report adverse reactions to mRNA shots and other vaccines. All residents and workers at the facility received the first dose of Pfizer mRNA in early January, according to Spain mainstream media outlet ABC de Sevilla. Most residents became extremely ill shortly after the shots. Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates on Wednesday rebuked a claim made a day before by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott that put the blame for that state’s massive cold-weather power outage on the failure of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar.
In fact, extreme weather like the winter storm that swept across the country in recent days will become more likely as climate change worsens, Gates told Yahoo Finance, advocating instead for an expansion of renewable energy as part of his call for the U.S. to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
