The fast-moving omicron variant may cause less severe disease on average, but COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. are climbing and modelers forecast 50,000 to 300,000 more Americans could die by the time the wave subsides in mid-March.

The seven-day rolling average for daily new COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. has been trending upward since mid-November, reaching nearly 1,700 on Jan. 17 — still below the peak of 3,300 in January 2021. COVID-19 deaths among nursing home residents started rising slightly two weeks ago, although still at a rate 10 times less than last year before most residents were vaccinated. A top Union Pacific Railroad official threatened to leave Los Angeles over the District Attorney’s progressive measures to lower criminal theft offenses amid a wave of criminal gangs looting rail cars.

Adrian Guerrero, Union Pacific’s director of public affairs, wrote a letter to LA County District Attorney George Gascón, denouncing the local government’s relaxed criminal policies, or rather “well-intentioned social justice goals,” as a catalyst for a wave of rail car theftsContinue reading “Union Pacific Bashes LA’s Social Justice Reform, Threatens To Leave City Amid Soaring Train Thefts”

PayPal is the latest tech giant to join the censorship game, shutting down its services for a variety of nonprofit organizations that are working to stop injection mandates.

This increasingly orchestrated attack has targeted the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), Organic Consumer’s Association (OCA) and many others — and should send a chill down the spine of anyone who values the freedom upon which the U.S. was founded.  Continue reading “PayPal Terminates Nonprofits Fighting Vaccine Mandates”

How the annual Robin Sage special forces guerrilla warfare training session feels different in the age of lockdowns, quarantines, and compulsory vaccinations.

While the U.S. government has labeled far-right extremists the number one domestic terror threat, as popular television shows, celebrities, and video games echo such sentiments, it is no wonder conservatives are feeling anxious hearing stories of military drills conducted against simulated rebel ‘freedom fighters’ on U.S. soil. American government functions best when each level of government (federal, state, county, local) stays in its own lane and its own jurisdiction.

That becomes problematic, however, when the federal government either grabs too much power or cedes its power to control the border without allowing a state government to fill the void.  Continue reading “Texas Fights for ‘Operation Lone Star’ After Court Declares It Unconstitutional”

American opposition to 5G technology has been ongoing for years due to various significant risks associated with it including aviation safety.  In December 2021, AT&T and Verizon agreed to delay their 5G expansion until January 5 due to warnings (see 12); however, airlines, the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), and transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg asked for more time.  The telecoms originally rejected their request but then agreed to delay the rollout until January 19 and also create 5G “buffer zones” at some (but not all) airports.  Due to lingering concerns, helicopter fleets may be grounded this week anyway.  Regardless, today the FAA reduced 5G restrictions at some airports but still seems to be issuing safety warnings. Continue reading “FAA Eases 5G Restrictions; “Even with these new approvals, flights at some airports may still be affected,” cautioned the agency.””

It might not be the most likely of locales to be associated with civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., but the monument to him revealed this week on Washington DC’s National Mall has some rather peculiar ties to the Far East that’s now causing a controversy.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial was designed and sculpted by a Chinese artist using Chinese materials and designed in China. It was eventually transported in pieces to America to be assembled, but only with the aid of a team of Chinese stonemasons who were flown in specifically for the job.
