Civil asset forfeiture is a pernicious policy in its own right. It is nothing more than legalized, institutionalized, government-sanctioned theft. Forfeiture laws flip due process on its head and create perverse “policing for profit” incentives. It’s bad enough that police can take people’s stuff, oftentimes without even charging them with a crime. But the damage done by this insidious policy is magnified when police use asset forfeiture money to fund the ever-growing surveillance state. The drumbeats of war are picking up the pace of inflation. Inflation, as I’ve argued here for some time, was certain to rise for months to come; but you’ll see in the various inflation notes below that sanctions made in response to the war are increasing inflation even more, as could be expected, and shortages due to the war are driving up costs as well. The Democrats on Monday agreed to spend $10 billion in “emergency” pandemic funding while ending Title 42—which prohibits the entry of immigrants who pose health risks.

The $10 billion package would fund the purchase of more coronavirus tests, vaccines, and supplies to further fight the Chinese coronavirus, the Washington Post reported. The costly package was agreed to by establishment Republicans, including Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Roy Blunt (R-MO), and Richard Burr (R-NC). Death inevitably follows pandemics, and it has been especially prevalent throughout the past two years, thanks to the Fauci-funded genetically modified virus that escaped from the Wuhan Lab in late 2019.

Despite the mass rollout of a vaccine, in which the majority of the population was compelled into taking the jab, excess deaths in the US remain at all-time highs over a year after the “cure” was introduced, and the numbers continue to get worse – especially for young Americans. Sacramento, CA — According to the antigun group, Gifford’s Law Center, the state of California has the strictest gun laws in the nation. The state was one of the first in the nation to enact an extreme risk protection order law — the questionable “red flag” confiscation law — which failed to stop Kevin Douglas Limbaugh from obtaining an illegal gun and going on a shooting spree. The state also has the most robust system in the country for removing firearms from people who become prohibited from having them — which consistently fails to keep the guns out of the hands of criminals. Foreign critics have long chafed at the “exorbitant privilege” of the U.S. dollar as global reserve currency. The U.S. can issue this currency backed by nothing but the “full faith and credit of the United States.” Foreign governments, needing dollars, not only accept them in trade but buy U.S. securities with them, effectively funding the U.S. government and its foreign wars. But no government has been powerful enough to break that arrangement – until now. How did that happen and what will it mean for the U.S. and global economies?  Continue reading “The Coming Global Financial Revolution: Russia Is Following the American Playbook”
