MCALLEN, Texas – Federal agents raided a home on the Texas border while serving a search and arrest warrant on a fellow agent.
The raid took place Friday in the border city of Brownsville where agents with Homeland Security Investigations and the Brownsville Police arrested a federal agent, a local TV station reported.
The name of the agent or the agency he belonged to were not readily available since he has not been before a federal judge, which is expected to take place Monday.
According to the local TV station, a spokesman for HSI told them that the arrest was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation that was considered a high profile case.
