Justice Department Announces the National Blue Alert Network

Department of Justice

The Justice Department, along with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), today announced the nationwide rollout of the National Blue Alert Network, including newly developed deliverables and federal interagency cooperation to enhance the safety and support of America’s law enforcement officers. Under implementation by the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office), the National Blue Alert Network promotes rapid dissemination of information to law enforcement, the media and the public about violent offenders who have killed, seriously injured or pose an imminent threat to law enforcement, or when an officer is missing in connection with official duties.

Named in honor of two fallen New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers who were ambushed in December 2014, the Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu National Blue Alert Act was signed into law in May 2015. The COPS Office was selected to implement the Act in September 2016 and has partnered with other federal agencies, including the FCC and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to establish enhanced communications systems, guidelines and resources.

“This network provides the means of quickly identifying, pursuing and capturing violent offenders who have hurt, killed or pose an imminent danger to law enforcement,” said Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “This National Police Week, we are proud to show our support for our nation’s brave police officers, and to work with our federal partners to keep them safe.”

“The men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect and serve the public,” said Acting Associate Attorney General Jesse Panuccio. “The Department of Justice is committed to supporting law enforcement, and the National Blue Alert Network will provide this country with the necessary framework for rapid response to help save lives and apprehend criminals who would attack those who bravely protect public safety.”

Blue Alerts are operationally similar to AMBER Alerts and can be broadcast on television, radio, and sent to cellphones and other wireless devices. Like AMBER Alerts, which are designed to quickly provide information about missing children to the public, Blue Alerts provide details about possible assailants, including physical descriptions, vehicle information and other identifying characteristics.

At present, there are 27 states with Blue Alert plans; however, this coordinated framework will help facilitate and streamline the adoption of new Blue Alert plans throughout the nation and help integrate existing plans. The COPS Office is a federal agency responsible for advancing community policing nationwide and has a long history of supporting officer safety and wellness. Since 1994, the COPS Office has invested more than $14 billion to advance community policing, including grants awarded to more than 13,000 state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies to fund the hiring and redeployment of approximately 129,000 officers and provide a variety of knowledge resource products including publications, training and technical assistance. 1. They created a national manhunt center so they can attempt to maintain the paper tiger illusion of dominance when we start defending ourselves.

Its rather obvious this is about getting the perps data out asap and hoping the sheep will help the wolves.

  2. How about an alert for us peons, giving the officers name and address whenever they beat the crap out of some innocent civilian. It would sure put an end to the ever encroaching police state.

    1. And THAT, FarmerDave is why it aint gonna happen. Why do you wait for them to give us a helping hand? Fk that! You are online, right? Why don’t you yourself find out where officer friendly lives? Google the a$$holes name! Go to the police department website, find the pig’s name address and whatnot. Do a history search on them! They love to talk about their exploits! Because, trust me……they don’t and won’t just GIVE you that info. How do you think an “encroaching police state” happens???? A free and unfettered “exchange” of information flowing both ways definitely does NOT occur in a police state. That is the mark of a truly free society. If you wait until they decide to give us what we politely ask for……well, it just ain’t realistic thinking! Think of it like this. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb discussing what’s for dinner. True freedom is the same scenario, but the lamb has tazer, a knife, mace and a gun. You are the lamb. The wolves did not give the lamb the neccesary implements and trust this, the lamb did not politely ask for them either!

      1. I’d be very careful how you search for info on people, places, etc., with the intention of “paying someone a visit.” That stuff can be traced back to you unless you take meticulous precautions. At a bare minimum, don’t use a computer that belongs to you or anyone you know, or that can be associated with you in any way.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not suggesting that wrongs shouldn’t be avenged. Just be as careful as possible when doing so.

        1. Amen to that advice. Everyone in my area has already mapped the enemy clandestinely without using the internet. But with the large turnover it is getting harder.

    2. Yes, or at least mutual defense networks of trusted friends and family, sworn before God (or upon one’s honor) to protect or avenge one another. If one member of the network gets victimized or needs assistance, the rest move into action in response to some coded signal.

The code and a basic plan of action could be prearranged in person, with NO electronic devices present during the discussion. Notes would be taken with paper and pencil only.

  3. Notice how they word things.
Like, “Violent offenders who…pose an imminent threat.”
    And “Possible assailants.”
    Meaning anyone who isn’t them.
    Damned before you even do.

  4. I, for one, will not be calling in any possible sighting of a cop-killer, even if ten million dollars is offered as a reward. And when I hear one of these “Blue Alerts” about a pig who got smoked, I might have a drink to celebrate.

The Blue Barbarians are the front line in the state’s war on the Bill of Rights. Every casualty on their side is a wonderful thing.

“Freedom grows where cops get planted.”

    1. ME EITHER. THE LITTLE PIECES OF BLUE/GREEN PAPER IS BACKED BY ONE THING………. FAITH. IT AINT WORTH IT………..ITS A SHAME REALLY, THAT PEOPLE STILL HAVE FAITH IN THE ANTICHRIST JEWS GREEN PAPER, BUT HAVE NO FAITH IN THAT WITCH IS IS WRITTEN IN BLACK AND WHITE FOR THIER OWN BENEFIT? I.E. THE NEW TESTAMENT? OR THE BILL OF RIGHTS??

  5. “The men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect and serve the public,”

    BULLSH#T!!!!!

THEY PROTECT & SERVE THEIR CORPORATE MASTERS… THE STINKING jEWS!!!

“… provide a variety of knowledge resource products including publications, training…

    In Israhell!
