Maryland Congressman Anthony Brown announced last week a bill he plans to introduce that, if enacted, would seek to curb hate speech in higher education.

Almost ten days have passed since the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the allied forces managed to break the siege on Deir Ezzor city, which was maintained by terrorists since 2014. This date undoubtedly will be incorporated into school textbooks and immortalized forever for all the Syrians.

Unfortunately, besides the true allies of the Syrian government, neither Western states nor human rights organization has offered assistance to the residents of the liberated city. PUYALLUP, Wash. – A woman thought to be holding a gun during what turned out to be a false “active shooter” alarm at a behavior health clinic in Puyallup was in fact calling 911 to report the alarm, police said.

The Indiana Court of Appeals decided Thursday that police officers can pull over motorists for having expired tags before their registrations actually expire. Indiana registrations lapse at midnight on a day determined by the owner’s last name, but an Indianapolis police officer decided to test the limits on October 21, 2015 by pulling over a car before midnight.

Officer Cameron Taylor says that he saw a car, ran its plate, and the computer said the plate was “expired,” though the date of expiration was October 21. During the ensuing stop, Officer Taylor asked the passenger, Kevin L. Dowdy, now 32, to show identification. Although he did not need to do so, Dowdy gave his name and birthdate. When the officer looked it up, he found that Dowdy had an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license. A report by internet security experts, Symantec, says that a hacking group called Dragonfly 2.0 has gained access to 20 power company networks. The American power grid has been hacked, but for some reason, the culprits restrained themselves from taking down the power like they did in Ukraine recently.

The targets were in the United States, Turkey, and Switzerland. Members of an uncontacted tribe, said to include women and children, have allegedly been massacred by gold miners in a remote part of the Brazilian Amazon.

Federal prosecutors in Brazil have opened an investigation into the reported massacre of about 10 members of the tribe, according to the New York Times.

To improve their public image, they are attempting to manipulate everything we see and hear about GMO crops and pesticides in the media and on TV, the internet and print articles – using propaganda-laden commercials, “mommy-blogger” articles, farmer endorsements, hired operatives to change Wikipedia, and front group websites. Following President Trump’s sign off last Friday on a short-term debt-ceiling/government funding/hurricane aid deal (thanks to Democrats’ votes), the US Treasury was finally freed from the shackles of the debt ceiling which it hit nearly one year ago  and which meant that US federal debt would be at roughly $19.808 trillion for months.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The United Nations Security Council unanimously stepped up sanctions against North Korea on Monday over the country’s sixth and most powerful nuclear test on Sept. 3, imposing a ban on the country’s textile exports and capping imports of crude oil.

It was the ninth sanctions resolution unanimously adopted by the 15-member council since 2006 over North Korea’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs. In what may be a major breakthrough in the diplomatic and political stalemate over North Korea if confirmed officially, Japan’s Kyodo newspaper reported overnight that Chinese state banks have started suspending transactions through accounts held by North Koreans, making it nearly impossible to do business between the two countries.
