Eatontown, NJ –-(Ammoland.com)-  Recently, VP Joe Biden said, at a news conference in Philadelphia, that “any reports that suggest that [Obama] was trying to take weapons away from gun owners was [sic] a “bunch of malarkey.” He further stated that “it was important for the media to dissuade the American public from the idea that the Obama administration was prepared to do something unconstitutional on guns.”

This was very comforting to hear. They just want to calm gun owners’ fears. Biden wouldn’t be trying to lull gun owners into submission, would he?  I am glad to know the White House is not out to disarm us. So, I want to help clarify the Vice President’s message. During the Vietnam War, among many other responsibilities in the SEA AOR, SF fulfilled a core mission, providing leadership cadre for indigenous ranger-type units referred to as “Mike” Forces. The project under which this was conducted was Project Delta, or B-52 (any errors in my recounting of that two sentence history are the result of OPSEC. They have nothing to do with my ongoing battle with CRS syndrome…”Can’t Remember Shit”).

One of the lasting legacies of Project Delta was the production of the now-famous Recon Tips of the Trade. President Barack Obama on Tuesday called for talks on a far-reaching free trade agreement with the 27 nations of the European Union, throwing his weight behind a deal that would encompass half the world’s economic output.

“Tonight I am announcing that we will launch talks on a comprehensive Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the European Union because trade that is free and fair across the Atlantic supports millions of good-paying American jobs,” Obama said in his annual State of the Union speech. The world can expect a full Blown breakout of the so-called Currency Wars soon enough. Japanese currency – the Yen & the nations monetary policy have become the focus of the global Currency tensions ahead of a meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bankers later this week in Moscow.

If you see a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter hovering over La Marque and Texas City today, not to worry: we’re not under attack.

It’s all part of a U.S. Army training exercise involving a small contingent of servicemen that should wrap up today, or Thursday at the latest, officials said.

“This is an Army exercise to test their equipment,” La Marque Police Chief Randall Aragon said. “The area resembles a theater of operation they might be using. As previously reported by Kelli Sladick, HB 2175 was introduced to the Kansas Legislature to limit TSA searches. Probable cause would be the new standard before public officials or employees could legally touch “the genitals, buttocks, anus or female breasts of suchperson, including touching through clothing.” There are also protections for children, prohibiting agents of the state from removing a child from the physical custody or control of the parent or guardian.
