After the bombings that killed and maimed so horribly at the Boston Marathon, our country’s politics and mass media are awash in heartfelt compassion — and reflexive “doublethink,” which George Orwell described as willingness “to forget any fact that has become inconvenient.”

The Organic Prepper

The bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon was a shocking act of terror.  All over the world, people watched in horror as the bombs went off, as people staggered and fell, and in the aftermath, saw the gory bloodstained sidewalks and graphic photos of people missing limbs.

According to the FBI, the letters that reportedly tested positive for ricin sent to President Barack Obama and Senator Roger Wicker are not connected to the Boston Marathon bombings.

More letters may be received as the investigation continues, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the FBI. Syrian President Bashar Assad has cautioned in a TV interview that the West will pay a heavy price for allegedly helping Al Qaeda extremists in the country’s two-year uprising, adding that the government’s defeat is out of the question.

In the statement that was made on Wednesday to state channel Al Ikhbariya, Assad warned that “The West has paid heavily for funding Al-Qaeda in its early stages. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Senate on Wednesday rejected a bipartisan plan to expandbackground checks for gun buyers, dealing a sharp blow to President Barack Obama’s campaign to curb gun violence after the Newtown school massacre.

Please be aware that there are what we call “Bloomberg shills” lurking in the comments of gun blogs and forums at present. It has been going on since before the election, and we first noticed it as far back as our January 8th, 2012 article “2nd Amendment Voters Should Vote Ron Paul.” At first it seemed like fun because they got a lively discussion going, and many of our articles have over 400 comments just because of a few anti-gun comments peppered in by a shill here and there. But as more and more of them have come in, we have begun to realize that it is better to delete them. The anti-gunners have a plan, and that plan is to make gun people look stupid, heartless, and separate from the values of mainstream America. A recent “whistleblower” post about the Boston Marathon explosions is especially troubling.
