Sen. Feinstein “I Can’t Remember How Many DUIs (Immigrants) Can Have” And Become Citizens (Answer: Two)

Mr. Conservative – by Warner Todd Huston

Senator Dianne “Screw Your Constitution” Feinstein of California doesn’t seem to know any of the details about the amnesty bill she is about to vote for. It must be nice to be a Democrat Congresscritter. Why, all you have to do is feeeeel and then make a vote. You don’t have all that messy “knowing” about stuff to worry about.

On Tuesday, June 25, Feinstein told reporters that she “can’t remember” how many convictions on drunk driving an illegal immigrant can have yet still qualify to become a sudden U.S. citizen in the new amnesty law being debated in the Senate.

For your information, DiFi, it’s two. An illegal is allowed to have been arrested and convicted of drunk driving twice yet still qualify to become a sudden citizen in the amnesty bill.

But, think about this. It means that these convicts are actually guilty of far more than a mere drunk driving case. 1). They are breaking the law by being an illegal in the first place. 2). They are breaking the law by driving without a license. 3). They are breaking the law by driving without car insurance. and 4). They are breaking the law by driving drunk and endangering the lives of everyone on the road.

So, in truth, these illegals are still qualified to become a sudden citizen after breaking no less than eight laws! And that is just in the case of the drunk driving convictions! There are other laws that illegals can break and still qualify for being a sudden citizen.

On this point, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s summary of the bill said:

Section 3702. Banning habitual drunk drivers from the United States

“This section renders inadmissible and deportable any alien convicted of three offenses occurring on separate dates related to driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated. For deportation, at least one of the convictions must occur post-enactment. Further, the section makes conviction for a third drunk driving offense an aggravated felony. The provision takes effect on the date of enactment of the bill. It applies only if one of the convictions takes place after enactment of the bill.”

Anyway, CNSNews had this discussion with DiFi on the issue:

Under the Corker-Hoeven amendment last night, the immigration bill, how many DUIs can an illegal alien have before becoming legalized?”

Feinstein was one of 52 Democrats who voted for the amended bill.

“Well, I can’t answer that right now. I just don’t know,” Feinstein replied.

“Have you read the bill, the amended parts?” she was asked.

“I’m on the Judiciary Committee. I sat through all the hearings and my mind is filled with intelligence right now, and candidly I can’t remember how many DUIs somebody can have, but hopefully it isn’t many.”

So, how many convictions of breaking our laws do you think Illegals should be allowed to have before being allowed to become a sudden citizen?

  1. Here’s my personal short story on a recent encounter with an illegal alien. I’m shopping at my supermarket in Southern California. It’s early, 6am so I’m the only one in the store. As I check-out I notice a new register clerk. He’s Latino and his English is first generation which means he speaks English okay but you know the minute you leave he’s jabbering away with his co-worker in Spanish. We somehow get on the topic of jobs, he likes his yob I like mine. He finds out I do a simple little part-time job throwing newspapers early in the morning. Suddenly his eyes light-up with excitement. He say’s “Is that a good job, does it pay well”? I told him the job pays next to nothing and the hours suck, otherwise this guy would have run down to my boss and grabbed my job, I swear! He was all hot-to-trot about stealing another whitemans job, and he would have to if he thought he could. Point of the story? These Mexicans are taking all the jobs, period. And the bosses love it because they work for half the pay and get no benefits. End of story.

Her mind is filled with INTELLIGENCE???
