RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) –
Police sources confirm that a Virginia State Police Trooper is dead after a shooting at the Greyhound station on North Boulevard on Thursday. The shooter is also dead.
Other sources say that six people, including one other trooper, were shot around 2:45 p.m.
Sources say State Police were conducting a training session at the bus station when a suspect approached one of the troopers and pulled out a gun and shot him in the chest. The troopers then opened fire on the suspect.
The shooting victims were transported to VCU Medical Center.
Police continue to urge everyone to stay away from the area.
The Greyhound station is at 2910 N. Boulevard, directly across the street from The Diamond. That area is closed to traffic and police are directing traffic.

I live in the area, most of the Virginia staties here to my knowledge, are descent guys. Doing there job isn’t getting easier thanks to the bad cops, lawless criminals who value no ones life and corrupt government laws. Makes me wonder why during a shooter training drill the officer didn’t have a bullet proof vest on, doesn’t make sense me to not take the training seriously. There are still descent human beings who serve in law enforcement. So, was he on board with the new global police force agenda or what really disturbs me, was he a example of what happens when your not. Because that time is coming, are we there yet?
You might be correct about a few decent cops, but usually that code of silence makes them all rotten. And if one does speak up and gets out of line, they hunt them down like an animal and destroy them.
