A police officer in Montana was seriously injured early Saturday after a car full of teenagers ran him over, police said.

RICHMOND, Va. — Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam‘s push to ban the sale of assault weapons has failed after members of his own party balked at the proposal.

Brace for chaos: in a few weeks, the next person to sneeze may be arrested quietly pulled aside by the authorities and tested for coronavirus.
People in the US experiencing flu-like symptoms will be screened for the latest coronavirus that originated from China, officials with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced during a briefing on Friday, adding that it will roll out 5 labs, in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Seattle, to screen patients through the ominously sounding “national flu surveillance program”; if that wasn’t bad enough, they also said the program is likely to expand as more confirmed cases are expected in the coming days and weeks. It appears that the U.S. military is taking this coronavirus outbreak extremely seriously. An executive order has been issued which has initiated the implementation of “the Department of Defense Global Campaign plan for Pandemic Influenza and Infectious Diseases 3551-13”. We don’t know all of the details of the plan, but we do know that it instructs U.S. military officials “to prepare for widespread outbreaks”. Many in the mainstream media continue to try to convince us that this virus is not much more dangerous than the common flu, but if that is true then why is our military taking such a dramatic step? A new Pentagon request for military funding in 2021 is out on Monday, with revelations that they are seeking $705.4 billion, covering a 3% pay raise for service members, and $15.4 billion for Space Force.

FORREST CITY, Arkansas. (WMC) – Forrest City police confirm two officers were shot during an active shooting situation at Walmart Monday morning.
The police chief tells us the suspect was also shot inside the store on Deaderick Road and died at the scene.

Floodwaters in Oregon are receding on Monday after relentless rain and melting snow led to dozens of rescues over the weekend from weather that killed one woman who was swept away in raging waters.
Multiple rivers in rural northeast Oregon were pushed over their banks Thursday after heavy snowfall in the mountains was combined with two days of steady rain and warming temperatures, sending floodwaters into the city of Pendleton and other rural communities. A gunman opened fire inside a New York City police precinct Sunday morning, striking a police officer in the arm just hours after another police officer was shot and injured in his patrol car in what officials called an attempted assassination.
The second officer was shot just before 8 a.m. inside the headquarters of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx and was currently in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital, NYPD spokesperson Hubert Reyes said. A police officer was shot at point blank range while he sat in his car in what authorities are calling an “attempted assassination.”
The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx in New York City when sources say the suspect walked right up to the marked police vehicle where the officer was sitting and allegedly began asking for directions before opening fire at the officer, according to ABC News’ New York station WABC. Virginia is trying to move on from its Confederate past, voting Thursday to eliminate a state holiday honoring Gens. Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.
The Virginia House of Delegates, which gained a Democratic majority this year after more than 20 years under GOP control, voted 55 to 42 in favor of the change. Google-owned video giant YouTube blacklisted a Breitbart News video of a recent speech on the Senate floor by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in which Paul names the alleged “whistleblower” as Eric Ciaramella.

Iowa state officials and Democratic Party members are fighting online misinformation and conspiracies alongside widespread technical problems, and the resulting chaos is putting platforms’ newly released misinformation policies to the test.
Companies like Facebook and Twitter take a hard line on some voting-related false information, including posts that give incorrect election dates, encourage people to not vote, or promote fake systems like “voting by text message.” Outside these clear-cut cases, though, the options get much more complicated, and social media companies have long struggled with the distinction between a disputed claim and a malicious falsehood. JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – Authorities have booked a man for capital murder after a Kimberly police officer was shot late Tuesday night.
Jail records show 37-year-old Preston Cheyenne Johnson has been booked with capital murder for shooting a police officer. Johnson and three other people were taken into custody near Highway 78 in Dora after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The White Helmets have shot a new fake video of ‘Assad’s chemical attack’ in Syria’s Idlib, the Russian MoD has said. The movie, co-produced by the notorious White Helmets, is expected to be released shortly on social media.
Production of the new film was concluded on Tuesday in the village of Zerba, located in the militant-controlled part of Syria’s Idlib province, the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation has said, citing several independent sources. The Palestinian Authority has cut all ties with Israel and the US after rejecting Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan.
President Mahmoud Abbas said the were would be “no relations at all” with the two countries as he reiterated his “complete” dismissal of the American leader’s proposal, which called for a demilitarised Palestinian state with borders drawn to meet Israeli security needs.
