INDIANAPOLIS — FBI agents on Thursday were still removing thousands of artifacts ranging from arrowheads to shrunken heads and Ming Dynasty jade from a house in rural central Indiana.

PITTSBURGH – Students at a Pennsylvania high school have become part of one of the most elaborate lip syncing videos to hit the web recently.
About 1,400 students (grades nine through 12) at North Hills High School participated in a very choreographed ‘lip dub’ video, performed to Avicii’s song, ‘Wake Me Up.’ The video features some kind of representation of all of the school’s various clubs and activities students can choose to belong to. More than 100 people were arrested and several deputies were injured during a spring break street party near Santa Barbara, Calif., that quickly dissolved into violence overnight.
Authorities from various law enforcement agencies were dispatched to control unruly crowds during Deltopia, an annual party in Isla Vista that drew about 15,000 people, according to a news release from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office. TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Kansas legislators gave final approval Saturday to a bill that would nullify city and county gun restrictions and ensure that it’s legal across the state to openly carry firearms, a measure the National Rifle Association sees as a nationwide model for stripping local officials of their gun-regulating power.
The House approved the legislation, 102-19, a day after the Senate passed it, 37-2. The measure goes next to Republican Gov. Sam Brownback. He hasn’t said whether he’ll sign it, but he’s a strong supporter of gun rights and has signed other measures backed by the NRA and the Kansas State Rifle Association. In Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana students staged a sit-in over the school’s failure to acknowledge a student’s suicide. Of note is the fact the principle responds to their protest by saying he’s “in charge” and ordering everyone to get out their IDs, basically acting like a two-bit thug cop. After one student makes a snarky comment that he’s “disappointed” in the principle, he then orders the student be arrested, to which the lackey cops present immediately oblige. Pennsylvania authorities are investigating Thursday as to why an unmanned drone crash landed near a Pennsylvania elementary school.
The Lebanon Daily News identified the 375-pound drone as a RQ-7 Shadow, operated by the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. A military official called Wednesday afternoon’s incident a hard landing, but the drone was apparently run over by a car. Philadelphia police are looking for several suspects in what appears to be a case of rat retaliation.
Investigators said an ongoing dispute over a man escalated late Wednesday, when a woman in her 20s, her mother and a pack of eight or nine other women went to the victim’s house with a baseball bat and a box containing an unknown number of white rats. MIDVALE, Utah — Two University of Utah students say Unified Police officers had no business handcuffing them in their Midvale apartment.
They said they were treated like criminals in their own home. Police entered the residence a week ago because the front door was open.
