“Who makes the profits from the operation of the Federal Reserve bank?” asks Catholic priest.

On April 7, 1940, Father Charles E. Coughlin of Royal Oak Michigan gave a detailed explanation and condemnation of the the Federal Reserve Banking System in his weekly radio address. Many people are familiar with the fiery youtube video clip in which an angry Fr. Coughlin rails against the Federal Reserve and shouts “They’re not even Americans, these Democrats and Republicans!” However, the clip featured here today is an hour long explanation of the system by Fr. Coughlin, in which he presents documentation from U.S. Senate testimony and other official sources. Continue reading “Fr. Coughlin explains the Federal Reserve, 1940: This privately owned corporation ‘thrives on misery’ and is ‘leading this country into chaos’”

Several years ago, the late Polish mathematician from Youngstown State University (my alma mater in Ohio), Dr. Zbigniew Piotrowski, walked up to me at the Youngstown Arab-American Community Center and shared a bold observation after I delivered a talk on the Palestinians’ desire for freedom and independence. He said the silver lining of the WWII tragedy, and in particular the Jewish loss thereof, was that the world reset how it operates; post-WWII, international law became the order of the day to avert a repeat of history. It was as if all the nations of the world pressed the reset button and rebooted with this new operating system, one that obligated all states to respect a set of collective rules and regulations. Dr. Piotrowski rightly questioned how Israel, which claims to be built on Jewish values, could be so utterly disrespectful of this new reference point.   Continue reading “Israel at 70 – A Darkness unto the Nations”

It is the source of one of the world’s most popular mineral waters, but the eastern French town of Vittel risks running dry.

Nestlé Waters, which owns the Vittel brand, is accused by residents and environmentalists of “overusing” local spring water that supplies the town and its bottling plant to maintain exports. The company denies the allegation.   Continue reading “French town of Vittel suffering water shortages as Nestle accused of ‘overusing’ resources”

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) granted Nestlé Waters North America, Inc. (Nestlé) a permit to increase its groundwater withdrawal for the purpose of bottling drinking water, according to a MDEQ statement on April 2.

Nestlé is authorized to begin withdrawing water at a rate up to 400 gallons per minute from the White Pine Springs well located near Evart, Michigan. Withdrawal may begin once the monitoring plan is in place and the baseline data is collected.   Continue reading “Outrage ensues as Michigan grants Nestlé permit to extract 200,000 gallons of water per day”

Scores of migrants gathered at the U.S. border began scaling the San Diego “wall” while shouting “Gracias, México!” presumably to thank the Mexican government for allowing them to travel from Central America to the U.S. border in the hopes of obtaining asylum from the Trump administration.    Continue reading “Chaos Erupts As “Caravan” Of Illegals Scales US Border Fence, Cheering “Gracias Mexico””

A common tactic for intelligence agencies is the use of front companies. In books about Israeli spy agencies, the tactic is a frequent reappearance.

Former Mossad officer Victor Ostrovsky’s book “By Way of Deception” gives details of some of the ways Israel’s notorious overseas spying and assassination agency operates. He recounts the use of front men and fake company representatives in an effort to recruit an unwitting, highly placed Syrian target.   Continue reading “Front companies and Israel’s global terrorist network”

Science doesn’t give a hoot about your politics. Think global warming is a hoax or that vaccines are dangerous? Doesn’t matter, you’re wrong.

Something similar is true of veganism. Vegans are absolutely right when they say that a plant-based diet can be healthy, varied and exceedingly satisfying, and that—not for nothing—it spares animals from the serial torments of being part of the human food chain. All good so far.   Continue reading “Sorry Vegans: Here’s How Meat-Eating Made Us Human”

President Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs withdrew his name from consideration this week after a number of serious allegations were raised about his stewardship as White House physician, including that he drank on the job.

The allegations against Ronny Jackson of excessive drinking shine a light on a problem that, while not unique to Washington, is particularly acute in the nation’s capital.

Washington, D.C., has the highest rates of binge and problem drinking in America.   Continue reading “Washington’s heavy-drinking ways in spotlight”

“I am perhaps the luckiest Jew who ever lived,” bragged Shmuel Rosner in the New York Times. Recently Israel celebrated its 70th anniversary. We witnessed a disturbing display of tribal hubris. I would like to believe that those who are even vaguely familiar with Jewish history know that this level of self-love has been a recipe for disaster.

“I am the Jew who gets to see Jewish ingenuity unapologetically celebrated,” Rosner wrote. And he is certainly right. The sight of Israeli soldiers shooting Palestinian protesters is certainly a unique celebration of “ingenuity”. Rosner feels “lucky” to see “Jewish material success flourish”. I accept that material wealth is important but wouldn’t it be a bit more clever for Rosner to conceal his affinity for mammon?   Continue reading “Israel’s seven decades of plunder”

There are a mass of corporations and organizations that don’t want you carrying firearms in their businesses, or even carrying firearms at all — or even kind of, sort of thinking about firearms.

In other words, there are a lot of people out there that aren’t fans of you exercising your rights.   Continue reading “Report: Here Are 54 Anti-Gun Companies That Don’t Deserve Your Business”

Well, this is an interesting development.  Lawyers working for 9/11 families have filed a petition to open a Grand Jury inquiry into 9/11.

The summary and supporting evidence are really quite strong, at least arguing very successfully that an inquiry is at least justified:   Continue reading “Lawyers File For Grand Jury Investigation Into 9/11”

The federal government paid a “bed rate” of $127.82 per day to house each illegal alien detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in fiscal 2016, according to ICE data published in a new report by the Government Accountability Office.

Even if you do not count the extra day in that leap year, that works out to $46,654.30 for each detention bed occupied by an illegal alien for 365 days.   Continue reading “$46,654: Annual Cost of Detaining Illegal Alien Exceeds Average American Income”

OAK CITY, N.C. — For the sake of a greener Europe, thousands of American trees are falling each month in the forests outside this cotton-country town.

Every morning, logging crews go to work in densely wooded bottomlands along the Roanoke River, clearing out every tree and shrub down to the bare dirt. Each day, dozens of trucks haul freshly cut oaks and poplars to a nearby factory where the wood is converted into small pellets, to be used as fuel in European power plants.   Continue reading “How Europe’s climate policies have led to more trees being cut down in the U.S.”

As a resident of Oklahoma I have to say that I fully support this bill!

The process to attain a permit at the moment is a tad silly. I suspect that it is more about the money made than being sure that those carrying are qualified. There is very little on gun safety during class or range testing which is what most new shooters really needed. There is some information on legalities but most should be common sense.
