— For years they were children at war, boys given rifles and training by al-Qaeda-backed militants and sent to the front lines of this country’s bloody conflict. Many had been kidnapped from schools and soccer fields and forced to fight.

The United Nations pleaded for them to be removed from the battlefield. The United States denounced the Islamist militants for using children to plant bombs and carry out assassinations.   Continue reading “U.S.-funded Somali intelligence agency has been using kids as spies”

Beginning on January 1, Pennsylvania motorists will no longer need to place registration stickers on their license plates. The move was intended to give a significant boost to the automated license plate reader (ALPR or ANPR) industry, but it has also kicked off a debate in the General Assembly over whether these stickers are simply a means of generating $29 million in annual citation revenue.

The decision to go tagless was made in a single sentence slipped into Act 89, the massive state transportation funding measure signed into law in 2013.   Continue reading “Pennsylvania Plans On Dumping Auto Registration Stickers”

Philadelphia resident Francis Rawls has been in solitary confinement for seven months, despite the fact that he has not been accused of a crime – let alone convicted of one. He may spend the rest of his life in that condition as punishment for invoking his unconditional right, supposedly protected by the Fifth Amendment, against self-incrimination.

Apart from the seventeen years he spent as an officer with the Philadelphia Police Department, Rawls has never done anything to threaten the public. He has no criminal record. He is suspected of possessing child pornography, which would evince an unspeakably vile appetite and make him a suitable subject of social ostracism. There is no documented reason to suspect him of committing an act of violence or exploitation against a child, which are among the worst imaginable crimes.   Continue reading “Take the Fifth — And Face Life Imprisonment Without a Trial”

In an unusual speech in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day on Wednesday evening, IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen.Yair Golan likened recent developments in Israeli society to processes that unfolded in Europe before the Holocaust.

“If there’s something that frightens me about Holocaust remembrance it’s the recognition of the revolting processes that occurred in Europe in general, and particularly in Germany, back then – 70, 80 and 90 years ago – and finding signs of them here among us today in 2016.”   Continue reading “IDF Deputy Chief Likens ‘Revolting Trends’ in Israeli Society to pre-Holocaust Germany”

The Social Security Administration (SSA) is proposing to report people who receive disability benefits and have a mental health condition to the FBI’s background check system.

Nearly two weeks before he was to go on trial, a former FBI agent pleaded guilty Monday to stealing more than $136,000 in cash that had been seized during drug investigations.

Former special agent Scott M. Bowman admitted to using the cash to fund a lavish spending spree on items including plastic surgery and cars. The Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

Last month, a “secret meeting” that involved more than 100 executives from some of the biggest financial institutions in the United States was held in New York City.  During this “secret meeting“, a company known as “Chain” unveiled a technology that transforms U.S. dollars into “pure digital assets”.  Reportedly, there were representatives from Nasdaq, Citigroup, Visa, Fidelity, Fiserv and Pfizer in the room, and Chain also claims to be partnering with Capital One, State Street, and First Data.  This “revolutionary” technology is intended to completely change the way that we use money, and it would represent a major step toward a cashless society.  But if this new digital cash system is going to be so good for society, why was it unveiled during a secret meeting for Wall Street bankers?  Is there something more going on here than we are being told?   Continue reading “A New Digital Cash System Was Just Unveiled At A Secret Meeting For Bankers In New York”

Two groups that say fear of airport security body scanners forces some would-be fliers to risk driving instead, have challenged their use by the Transportation Security Administration.

Filing suit in the U.S. Court of Appeals in the District on Monday, the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) and the Rutherford Institute said “because car travel is much riskier than air travel, the net result could be an increase in overall travel fatalities.”   Continue reading “Lawsuit challenges TSA’s use of full-body scanners in airports”

There is a tremendous amount of surveillance around us. Nearly every business has a camera or two and just think about the power of your smartphone. Audio and visual recordings of incredible quality can capture nearly any experience. Members of law enforcement are also known to record an event or two.  This is especially true when it comes to interactions within police departments.  Recordings from inside a police department are sometimes referred to as booking videos and can be important pieces of evidence.     Continue reading “What Happens When Evidence Goes Missing”

Free Thought Project – by Matt Agorist

A video uploaded to YouTube this week shows a man filming his DUI checkpoint refusal. However, this refusal is unlike any the Free Thought Project has come across before.

As he engages with the officer, the man is told he is at a DUI checkpoint and he needs to present his license and insurance. Naturally wondering why or how one’s license and insurance could prove sobriety, the man proceeds to mentally dominate the officer.   Continue reading “Rights Flexing Hero Uses Jedi Mind Trick to Outsmart Cops and Beat DUI Checkpoint”
