In the old days, it was enough for an entrepreneur to be the owner of a corner store, plying their trade: butcher, baker, candlestick maker. If they brought competence to their trade, and sometimes a bit of innovation as required, they would have a good life. There was no pressure to grow, to branch out, to a franchise, to merge, to acquire. Sure there were rich industrialists at that time in history, but the ability to amass power through massive corporate growth was still in its infancy.   Continue reading “Strange Illuminati & Masonic Symbolism Found In Several Powerful Corporate Logos”

WASHINGTON — Rep. Barry Loudermilk of Georgia bought body armor. Rep. Gregg Harper hired armed security guards for events back home in Mississippi. And Rep. Dan Dovonan fortified his Brooklyn and Staten Island offices with security cameras and buzzer systems.

It’s fueling the region and starving it at the same time. Sales-tax revenue is hitting a record high, allowing the city to get around to fixing busted roads. But the crazy-low 2.1 percent unemployment rate is a bear. As the proprietor of Mulberry Cafe and Gerardo’s Casita, Morales is working hard to retain cooks.
