When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to assume that their president, hostile to the principles that formed the nation and determined to act with malice toward its inhabitants by suppressing their rights and enabling its enemies to prosper in their attempts to destroy it, must be confronted, a rational response for the nation is to encumber itself no more with such a president and reject his authority and the acolytes who carry out his wishes. I wanted to bring your attention, and hopefully that of your readers, a video series about extreme long range shooting. In total, there are 85 well laid out videos (about 25 hours of total instruction) that explains in easily understood and great detail what it takes to make first shot hits at extreme ranges, and shows why details found in military training manuals are wrong. He explains what works and what does not work and why.
As a long range, non-square range, competitive shooter, I tended to run in the middle of the pack. I have been slowly applying the principles and small equipment changes detailed in the series and I have increased my long range first hit accuracy by more than double, and I am not yet half way though the application of everything detailed in the series. Armed with much of this new knowledge, I am far less fearful of taking shots beyond my normal maximum of 1000 yards. Continue reading “Long-Range Shooting Tutorial Video Series”

HELMETTA – Richard Recine’s 36-year career as a police officer came crashing down this week after he was caught on camera saying police do not have to follow the Constitution because President Barack Obama doesn’t either.
On Thursday, Recine — who had retired from the Franklin police force in 2006 and was working part time here as a special police officer — submitted his resignation.
“I don’t want to give a black eye to law enforcement,” Recine, 59, said Thursday in an exclusive interview with MyCentralJersey.com. “People are saying some really nasty stuff about cops. I don’t want all officers painted with the same brush.” Continue reading “N.J. cop in Obama rant speaks out and resigns”
A tourist seeking to take pictures of Yellowstone National Park crashed a camera-equipped drone into its largest hot spring, possibly damaging the prized geothermal feature, a park official said on Wednesday.
The incident follows the crash earlier this summer of a drone into a marina at Yellowstone Lake and a string of radio-controlled aircraft violations at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Continue reading “Drone Crashes in Famed Hot Spring at Yellowstone National Park”
James Perkins sees the federal Bureau of Land Management more as a belligerent occupying army than a government agency serving U.S. citizens, including those like him in south-central Utah.
Perkins is the sheriff of Garfield County, a rural bastion the size of Connecticut with only 5,500 residents, where 90% of the land is maintained by the BLM. The relationship between local law enforcement and often heavily armed federal officers has always been tense, and now threatens to reach a breaking point. US is Bankrupt: $89.5 Trillion in US Liabilities vs. $82 Trillion in Household Net Worth & The Gap is Growing. We Now Await the Nature of the Cramdown.
There are many ways to look at the United States government debt, obligations, and assets. Liabilities include Treasury debt held by the public or more broadly total Treasury debt outstanding. There’s unfunded liabilities like Medicare and Social Security. And then the assets of all the real estate, all the equities, all the bonds, all the deposits…all at today’s valuations. But let’s cut straight to the bottom line and add it all up…$89.5 trillion in liabilities and $82 trillion in assets. There. It’s not a secret anymore…and although these are all government numbers, for some strange reason the government never adds them all together or explains them…but we will. First Amendment: Government’s assault on religious liberty has hit a new low as the IRS settles with atheists who sued the government over an alleged policy of not enforcing restrictions on churches’ political activities.
A lawsuit filed by the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) asserted that the Internal Revenue Service ignored complaints about churches’ violating their tax-exempt status by routinely promoting candidates from the pulpit. Continue reading “The IRS’ Bullied Pulpit”

Did you know that the federal government has an “Office of Population Affairs”? I didn’t realize this either until someone sent me a link to their website. The Office of Population Affairs operates under the umbrella of the Department of Health & Human Services, and it might as well be called “The Office of Population Control” because almost everything on the website is about controlling or reducing the size of the population. On the site you can find information and resources about abortion, female sterilization, male sterilization and a vast array of contraceptive choices. There is even a search engine where you can find a local “family planning clinic” where you can get rid of any “unintended pregnancy” that may be bothering you. Frankly, it sickens me to think that my tax dollars are being used to fund all of this. Continue reading “Why Does The U.S. Government Have An ‘Office Of Population Affairs’?”

A short two-minute video Bloomberg News uploaded to YouTube attempts to explain why the world doesn’t already have a widely available Ebola vaccine.

A seven hour standoff between a SWAT team in Hayward, California–and what was eventually determined to be an empty residence–ended, when authorities realized the individual they thought may have sent a series of “suspicious notes” was not actually home.
The bomb squad, including snipers and their bomb-sniffing K9s, were called out after deputies from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office discovered a series of incendiary notes which indicated there were explosives inside of the home they were attempting to deliver eviction notices to, according to a report by KTVU. The events began around 10 am and ended at 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening. Continue reading “SWAT Team Ends 7-Hour Standoff after Realizing Nobody was Home”

During the 1990′s the growth of the militia movement surged at the heels of several national events. The Cold War had finally ended, but suspiciously, the United States’ global military apparatus did not shrink away. Domestically, the police state we know and love today began to assert itself. It could be argued that this new force in American affairs manifested in the events that transpired at Waco and Ruby Ridge. Suddenly the American public came face to face with the true nature of their government in a very publicized and horrifying way. Most people talked about it, and promptly went on with their daily lives as usual. As for the rest, that tiny vocal minority…they joined militias. Wendy’s Co., the third-biggest U.S. fast-food hamburger chain, is leaving the Russian market after three years, after a change in the local franchisee’s management.
The country’s eight Wendy’s outlets are being shut down, Bob Bertini, a spokesman for Dublin, Ohio-based Wendy’s said by e-mail. Wenrus Restaurant Group, a former unit of Moscow-based Food Service Capital, agreed in 2010 to open 180 restaurants under the format across Russia within a decade. There was a change in Wenrus’s ownership and management in the past year, and the decision to leave the country had nothing to do with politics, Bertini said. On July 29 Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Chris Murphy (D-CT) introduced legislation encouraging states to “[seize] firearms when adjudicating or responding to domestic violence situations.”
Called the Domestic Violence Gun Homicide Prevention Act of 2014, the bill works by “[granting] incentives to states that match or exceed current federal domestic violence gun prohibitions.” Continue reading “Senate Democrats’ Bill Puts Foot in the Door for Gun Confiscation”

Cairo (AFP) – An Egyptian court that jailed three Al-Jazeera journalists for alleged ties with Islamists said on Tuesday that “the devil guided” the group to spread false news defaming the country.
Australian journalist Peter Greste, Egyptian-Canadian Mohamed Fadel Fahmy and Egyptian producer Baher Mohamed were convicted in June of aiding the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood and spreading false news that portrayed Egypt as being in a state of “civil war.” Continue reading “Egypt court says ‘devil guided’ jailed Jazeera journalists”
Nine persons were arrested at the entrance to Homrich, a demolition contractor working on a $5.6 million deal to perform the water shutoffs on residents. The rally outside the gate started at 6:30am and went for seven hours before arrests were made. Police believed the group would disperse and head to the rally downtown at Hart Plaza. The group however showed their commitment holding the gate after that rally had started. This is the second week of arrests at the entrance and the second time in the last 10 years protesters were arrested in Detroit. Last week 10 persons were arrested and released on bail awaiting trial for disorderly conduct. Continue reading “Military device used on Detroit protest against #WaterShutoffs”
The government of the State of Connecticut seems content to exploit the murder of children at Sandy Hook to further disenfranchise their citizens of their rights. Not only are these citizens facing knee jerk legislative actions that have called on them to disarm, there also seems to exist a culture among the courts that shames gun owners for the most basic expression of their constitutional rights.
These despicable and deplorable acts against the law abiding only magnify the damage done to the state by the Sandy Hook Massacre as they use the blood of their own dead to further push a radical agenda by anti-gun groups that wish to see the law abiding disarmed and subject to the whim of the criminal and tyrannical. Major U.S. gun manufacturer Sig Sauer announced a major layoff today, saying the overall slump in gun sales has forced it to cut nearly 10 percent of its staff from its Exeter, New Hampshire, and Newington, New Hampshire, manufacturing facilities.
The move comes as the firearms buying “bubble” has seemingly burst, with many major gun manufacturers reporting slower sales than previous years. Sig says it staffed up to meet the increasing demand for firearms over the last several years, but a return to “normal” sales made those employees no longer necessary.
