The invention of electricity transformed the lives of many. No longer were work days limited to the sun’s rays, and with longer hours to work with creative inspiration, inspired dreams could become reality.

But in many areas of the world, conveniences common to the Western world are still foreign. For example, 1 billion people currently experience energy poverty and have no means of illumination during the day or after dark. Thanks to Brazilian mechanic, Alfredo Moser, however, this can be changed.   Continue reading “How To Use Plastic Water Bottles And Bleach To Create LIGHT!”

There are future scenarios which, with enough exposure before they happen, can be stopped—or at least analyzed correctly when they occur.

A staged bioterror event is one of those.

The primary fact is: no matter what kind of germ you’re talking about or where it came from, releasing it intentionally does not guarantee predictable results. Far from it.   Continue reading “The basics of a staged bioterror event”

Dallas, TX — When feeding the homeless becomes an act of civil disobedience, Americans have been asleep for far too long.

The folks over at the aptly named organization Don’t Comply, took to the streets just outside the Austin Street Shelter in Dallas this weekend to perform, what has now become a revolutionary act – feeding the homeless.   Continue reading “Well-Armed Activists Openly Defy Texas Law to Feed the Homeless – Hundreds Clothed and Fed”

Michigan conservative Justin Amash (R-MI) took to Facebook to blast the establishments of both parties, explaining that the Omnibus bill is the perfect example of why Americans hate Congress.

Speaking of a story from Roll Call about the passage of the Omnibus bill, Rep. Amash said,The story below illustrates the brokenness of Washington, where only a few individuals negotiate nearly $2 trillion in provisions and tell the rest of Congress to take it or leave it. I voted no on this disgusting omnibus bill that harms Americans and bankrupts the next generation.”   Continue reading “Nancy Pelosi Takes Sick Victory Lap after Getting Omnibus Passed”

In March of this year, Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL) introduced HR1205: American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2015, which was assigned to a congressional committee. The bill would effectively end the united States’ membership in the United Nations, but why is there no push to advance it forward?

“The U.N. continues to prove it’s an inefficient bureaucracy and a complete waste of American tax dollars,” Rogers said in a statement. “Although the United States makes up almost a quarter of the U.N.’s annual budget, the U.N. has attempted a number of actions that attack our rights as U.S. citizens.”   Continue reading “If Americans are Sick of the United Nations, Why are They Not Backing this Bill to Get Us Out of it?”

According to a new poll, 30% of Republican voters are in favor of bombing Agrabah, the only problem is that the place doesn’t even exist. Agrabah is, of course, the fictitious land that is depicted in the story Aladdin. While these poll results may seem ridiculous, they are honestly not very surprising.

Americans from both political parties seem to be happy to go to war anywhere, especially some place that has a middle eastern sounding name.  Continue reading “Many American Voters Are In Favor Of Bombing Fictitious Land Of “Agrabah” From Aladdin”

Lakeview, TX — Police in Lakeview, Texas are routinely conducting traffic stops without probable cause that a violation has occurred – and have packaged these unlawful detentions in a way that has earned media approval.

The pretext offered by the department is its “Doing it Right Safe Driving Campaign,” through which officers who lurk in the shadows like rapists stop drivers who appear to be following all of the rules are stopped and then given Starbucks gift certificates – but only if a scan of the driver’s license and registration reveals no outstanding warrants or violations. The confused and anxious motorists are not told the purpose of the traffic stop until the officer returns with the surprise gift – which is actually a species of Trojan Horse that permits the officer to sneak a peek at the driver’s record without a legally valid reason.   Continue reading “Unable To Stop Criminals, Texas Cops Now Pull You Over For “Driving Safely” To “Reward” You”

Op-Edge — If you’re in a boat that just went over Niagara Falls, it’s a little late to be saying, “We really need to turn around!” You need to start thinking about what happens when you land. Frantically paddling backward will not help.

Similarly, some people’s level of denial and wishful thinking when it comes to police abuse borders on delusional. The police are a street gang—the biggest, most violent street gang in the country, which murders more people, and steals more property than all the others combined. They are not your friends. They don’t serve you. They never will. Nothing is going to make the average badge-wearer give a damn about you, your freedom, or your life. Petitions, lawsuits, elections, and protests cannot change the mindset or the behavior of a pack of predators.   Continue reading “Should You Defend Yourself Against Violent Cops, Or Let Them Kill You and Your Loved Ones?”

California Governor Jerry Brown on Friday declared a state of emergency in San Bernardino County, following the massacre by an Islamic State-inspired couple at a holiday party for county workers.

Because the 14 people killed and 26 wounded in the terrorist attack were largely employees in the county’s environmental health department, the massacre left San Bernardino County with too few health inspectors and others needed to carry out critical work, Brown said in his emergency proclamation.   Continue reading “California governor declares emergency in response to San Bernardino attack”

Back in 2014, civil liberties and privacy advocates were up in arms when the government tried to quietly push through the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act, or CISA, a law which would allow federal agencies – including the NSA – to share cybersecurity, and really any information with private corporations “notwithstanding any other provision of law.” The most vocal complaint involved CISA’s information-sharing channel, which was ostensibly created for responding quickly to hacks and breaches, and which provided a loophole in privacy laws that enabled intelligence and law enforcement surveillance without a warrant.   Continue reading “CISA Is Now The Law: How Congress Quietly Passed The Second Patriot Act”
