obama philippinesThe Sleuth Journal – by Luis R. Miranda

United States and the Philippines have signed a military pact Monday, allowing greater presence of U.S. troops in the Asian country. The agreement, signed just hours before the arrival of U.S. President Barack Obama to Manila is part of the strategy of political, economic and military U.S. shift towards Asia.

Philippines, the oldest ally of Washington in the region, is the last leg of Obama’s Asian tour, which began on Wednesday of last week in Japan and then took him to South Korea and Malaysia, before landing at Manila, where he met with Philippine President Benigno Aquino. After the meeting, Obama said that the alliance, initially for ten years, will promote peace and stability in the region, and that the United States is not trying to renew old or build new foundations.     Continue reading “Obama Bribes Eastern Nations In Search For Support Of U.S. War Policies”

Weed - Florida Police Launch “Don’t Let Florida Go To Pot” Anti-Weed CampaignMarijuana – by Barry Poppins

You know why (most) cops don’t want marijuana legalized? Cause they’d have to focus on real (more dangerous) crime while they’d have a lot less to do (and more time to eat donuts). The likely result: many officers would probably be out of jobs and have to migrate to mall or amusement park security.

And in Florida, the state’s sheriffs REALLY don’t want medical marijuana entering their domain. To combat the “devil’s lettuce” threat, they’ve launched a campaign with the (super witty!) title: “Don’t Let Florida Go To Pot”. The goal: don’t let reefer madness infiltrate the Sunshine State.   Continue reading “Florida Police Launch “Don’t Let Florida Go To Pot” Anti-Weed Campaign”

Rev. Jesse Jackson joined Bloomberg Television’s Erik Schatzker and Stephanie Ruhle following NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s press conference. The Rev. Jesse Jackson said:

“There’s nothing more that needs to be done. I’m sure he has polled the owners… No owner will stand against this recommendation and vote for Sterling. If they did not do it, you would have mutiny by the players, boycotts by the fans and more dropouts from the advertisers.”   Continue reading “Rev. National Security Agency photoSitePro News – by Jennifer Cowan

In a rare move, the White House is opening up about its policies on going public — or not — with cyber-security issues and online vulnerabilities.

Presidential cyber-security co-ordinator Michael Daniel has written a surprisingly candid blog post in response to the ongoing belief that the National Security Agency had actually known about the HeartBleed bug for two years, but kept its mouth shut so it could use the flaw for its own purposes.   Continue reading “White House Explains Policy on Going Public With Online Security Threats”

Before It’s News – by Monica Davis

Increasingly, land and water resources will drive war and warfare.  I’ve said more than once, that the next war will be over natural resources. Those who can defend their own resources will be at war with “bigger fish” and those who can not defend their own borders and maintain their own water, land and resources will be at the mercy of global resource pirates.

As I noted in an earlier article, private copanies in the US and around the world are buying up local water resources. National and global players are consolidating their hold on the world’s water supplies.   Continue reading “Chinese-US Oligarchs Benefit From Population Cleansing War: Land And Water Resources Dwindling”

Few will dispute that careerist politicians often demonstrate psychopathic behavior.

In the article, Who Controls our Government? The Psychopathic Corporate Elites of America, Richard Gale and Dr. Gary Null attempt to answer several fundamental questions:

“Is the problem, therefore, we the people? Are we at fault for having been seduced by those in power to sell us blank bill of goods, drugs, products and policies that are more harmful than beneficial? Continue reading “The Establishment Plagued with Sociopaths, Psychopaths and Useful Idiots”

Shooting at FedEx center wounds 6, suspect deadYahoo News – by Kate Brumback

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — A shooter described as being armed with an assault rifle and having bullets strapped across his chest “like Rambo” opened fire Tuesday morning at a FedEx station outside Atlanta, wounding at least six people before police found the suspect dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.

Police rushed to the center after someone called to report an active shooter at 5:54 a.m. After surrounding the perimeter and working to clear the building, officers found the suspect dead, Cobb County police spokesman Michael Bowman said. He said there were no immediate reports anyone else had been killed.   Continue reading “Shooting at FedEx center wounds 6, suspect dead”

Tommy Henderson shows a survey of land along the Red River in North Texas. Three decades ago, an Oklahoma judge said 140 acres of land he managed belonged to the federal government – even though Henderson held the deed and diligently paid his taxes. Now, the federal government is weighing what to do with more land along the river, some of which has been in North Texas families for generations.American Freedom by Barbara

The Big Conversation: As Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson prepare to meet later today with Tommy Henderson, the man who has become the face of the increasingly politicized spat between Texas and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the Tribune’s Jim Malewitz has an exhaustive background story on the seeds of the conflict. Here are some excerpts:   Continue reading “BLM Says 116 Miles of Land Along Red River belongs neither to Texas nor Oklahoma”

marijuana pot weed 263x164 Nevada Initiative Takes Aim at Marijuana LegalizationNatural Society – by Elizabeth Renter

Only two states thus far have legalized the recreational use of marijuana, but Nevada is hoping to join them in coming years. According to the Associated Press, a marijuana advocacy group recently filed a petition to legalize possession in the state, though it may be a few years before we know the outcome of their efforts.

Campaign to Regulate Marijuana submitted the initiative petition this past week, a petition that will require about 102,000 to send the legalization bill onto lawmakers in 2015. If the legislature failed to act on the bill or if they rejected it, it would then go before voters in 2016, an election year.   Continue reading “Nevada Initiative Takes Aim at Marijuana Legalization”

The world turned a blind eye to the rising Nazi threat over 75 years ago, and today Iran is being allowed to develop its nuclear program and menace Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday as the country marked Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Declaring that Iran was determined to acquire nuclear weapons, and urging international negotiators to insist that Iran’s enrichment and other nuclear capabilities be completely dismantled, Netanyahu warned: “A deal that leaves Iran as a threshold nuclear state will bring the world to the threshold of the abyss.”

Secretary of State John Kerry’s Israeli-Palestinian peace talks have reached their predictable collapse, but the U.S. news media still shies away from blaming Israeli intransigence and expansionism – nor advocating stern action against the land grabs.

In 1988, Yasser Arafat declared independence for Palestine based upon the notion of two states living in peace in historic Palestine. The border between those two states was to be set roughly at the armistice line established at the end of the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. The Palestinian state’s capital was to be located in East Jerusalem.   Continue reading “Tolerating Israel’s Land Grabs”

fingerprintsNatural News – by J.D. Heyes

Fingerprint evidence has been an important aspect of crime fighting for more than a century because there was a basic assumption that every person has a unique set of prints. But one expert has recently said the belief that unique fingerprints can be identified quickly through a computer database is flawed, Britain’s Telegraph newspaper has reported.

Mike Silverman, who introduced the first automated fingerprint detection system to the London Metropolitan Police, says that human error, partial prints and false positives mean that fingerprint evidence is not as reliable as it was once thought to be. Harry Reid (D-NV), United States Senator from ...Light from the Right – by Bob Adelmann

The seemingly impervious Teflon-proof senior Senator from Nevada,  Majority Leader , has been forced to respond to charges made in a two-part investigation into his self-dealings at RealClearPolitics published last week. The initial investigation was filled with corruption charges and responses from Reid’s PR people in a failed attempt to deflect them. In the past such charges were simply ignored and passed off. Reid was willing to let time pass and memories fade. Not this time, apparently.   Continue reading “Another Investigation Confirms Harry Reid’s Long History of Corruption”

Others have already pointed out the absurdity that gay marriage is becoming a right in places where plastic bags and large sodas are becoming against the law. This sort of next wave civil rights step is only an expansion of freedom if you aren’t paying attention.

All the arguments over the differences between civil unions and marriage are largely meaningless. Once gay marriage is recognized, then marriage becomes nothing more than a civil union. The real casualty is the destruction of the word “marriage”, but the left is adept as destroying language and replacing meaningful words with meaningless words.   Continue reading “Wrong is the New Right”
