Ran off with the cash! An avid runner, Robbie Bruce came up with idea for the 26.4.26 run to honor the 20 children and 6 adults killed in the massacre and raise money for the victims' families. Now the money raised is missingDaily Mail

A charity formed after the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School has been unable to account for more than $70,000 it raised through marathon running, one of its co-founders said Friday.

Ryan Graney, of Nashville, Tenn., said only $30,000 of the $103,000 taken in by the 26.4.26 Foundation was used for the organization’s purpose.

That money was presented last January by co-founder Robbie Bruce to the nonprofit NYA, a youth sports center in Newtown, where the December 2012 shooting occurred.   Continue reading “Money raised from Newtown fundraiser goes missing as marathon-running charity partner disappears along with $70,000 in unaccounted funds”

In 2010 millions of American tea-party constitutionalists, to include the GOP’s Christian base, united in a remarkable grass-roots effort to rein in our unbridled federal government and return it to its expressly limited constitutional confines. As a result, an unprecedented number of counter-constitutionalist lawmakers (read: liberal Democrats) were swept from office.   Continue reading “Obama Moves to Weaponize IRS”

We know a hamburger and fries from McDonald’s is far from a “healthy” choice, but the fast food giant would like you to believe it is. So when the fast food giant’s employee resource website known as McResource Line offered advice to workers of the fast food giant, including advising them that a typical McDonald’s meal was unfit for consumption, the company yanked the site altogether.   Continue reading “McDonald’s Removes Employee Website After Advising Against Own Food”

You best not be a terrorist or homegrown radical extremist hiding out in the boonies of the Texas wilderness, because if you are you may well come face-to-face with the Parks and Wildlife Department’s newest rapid deployment “Scout Team.”

The unit is made up of 25 highly trained game wardens capable of deploying anywhere in the state of Texas within four hours. Armed with AR-15′s, BDU’s, and kevlar helmets, the team’s mission according to the TPWD website involves border operations, dignitary protection or any form of high-risk law enforcement, such as serving felony arrest warrants or hostage situations.   Continue reading “Ready For War: Parks and Wildlife Officers Now Heavily Armed As Military-Style “Force Multipliers””

When Marshawn Lynch plowed through the entire New Orleans defense during his epic 67-yard touchdown run three years ago, the ground underneath Seattle shook. Yes, seismologists actually measured a minor earthquake during Lynch’s amazing play.

Can the Seahawks make Seattle shake again? The University of Washington’s Pacific Northwest Seismic Network will be watching for similar movement during Saturday’s NFC Divisional Playoff game at CenturyLink Field — which, by the way, is against New Orleans again.   Continue reading “Seismologists will measure earthquake activity during Seahawks playoff game”

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan”.. All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A…. (substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all).   Continue reading “This Teacher Rocks! Entire Class Fails when Obama’s Socialism Experiment Fails”

Residents of South Charleston, W.Va., wait in line at Kroger to buy water following a chemical spill on the Elk River that compromised the public water supply of eight counties on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014. Think Progress – by Emily Atkin

The Federal Emergency Management Authority has confirmed that it will deliver more than 1 million liters (264,172 gallons) of clean water to residents of the nine counties in West Virginia after a chemical used by the coal industry spilled into the Elk River on Thursday.

Approximately 300,000 people in West Virginia were told not to drink or use their water after approximately 5,000 gallons of 4-Methylcyclohexane Methanol (MCHM) — a chemical used to wash coal of impurities — spilled from a tank owned by Freedom Industries. West Virginia American Water Company president Jeff McIntyre warned consumers not to use tap water for baby formula, brushing teeth, or showering. “Toilet flushing only,” he said.   Continue reading “Crisis In West Virginia: Wal-Mart Calls In Police To Guard Bottled Water Delivery”

A woman has filed suit against McDonald’s Corp., saying she was burned by hot coffee that spilled on her at one of the fast-food chain’s Los Angeles restaurants.

The lawsuit comes 20 years after a jury awarded $2.9 million to a woman who was badly burned after she spilled hot coffee into her lap at a McDonald’s in Albuquerque. That verdict was widely criticized and became a rallying cry for advocates of legal reform.   Continue reading “L.A. woman sues McDonald’s over hot coffee, 20 years after huge verdict”

A Virginia court has just made a very dangerous ruling which puts online commentators that use usernames or Anonymous instead of their real names, at risk of having their real names exposed. This also puts website owners at risk of being forced to betray users’ trust.

Yelp is a website where people can leave reviews of businesses they have used, either positive or negative so others may see the quality of service those specific businesses offer and a Virginia court has just ruled that Yelp must comply in providing a business, Hadeed Carpet Cleaning, with the names of their Anonymous users that wrote negative opinions and claimed Hadeed Carpet Cleaning conducted unfair business practices and deceptive advertising.   Continue reading “Dangerous Ruling For Online Commenters & Website Owners”

Caduceus healthcare lies1 263x164 CDC Not Legally Required to Tell the Truth About Anything, Including VaccinesNatural Society – by Christina Sarich

Since the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) aren’t legally required to tell the truth about anything, why should they? Maybe this is just one of many reasons the public is unaware of the many problems revolving around America’s health system.

The CDC is perhaps the most malicious in their information-twisting. Consider this recent upheaval about flu vaccinations. According to Dr. Peter Doshi in a British Medical Journal article review (BMJ 2013; 346:f3037):   Continue reading “CDC Not Legally Required to Tell the Truth About Anything, Including Vaccines”

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don’t think.
– Adolf Hitler

The headline of this post is one that I am not sure how to interpret, but undoubtedly marks something of significance. Personally, there have been many occasions throughout my youth, as well as my adult life, where I had a desire to read Mein Kampf. I was always curious to get into the mind of one of humanity’s greatest sociopaths. To get a glimpse of the thought process of a man capable of such cruelty and evil. To understand the types of words he used and the various psychological tactics he employed to manipulate an economically destitute and politically demoralized German population.   Continue reading “Sales of Hitler’s Mein Kampf are Surging…”
