Larry King claimed Wednesday that the Second Amendment was instituted to “ward off slave uprisings” and no longer has a function in the 21st century.
King, standing outside of a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, told TMZ that he agrees with former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who wrote in a New York Times op-ed published Tuesday that the Second Amendment should be repealed. A Guatemalan national who allegedly raped a teenage girl had been deported twice before his latest arrest in Oregon, federal officials said Monday.
Anastacio Eugenio Lopez Fabian, 24, was arrested in Seaside, Ore., on Feb. 14, after investigators determined he had sex several times with a girl younger than 14, reported The Daily Astorian. The hushed FBI investigation unfolding inside the FBI’s public Broadway show version of the Las Vegas shooting investigation started when a witness claimed he hid outside Mandalay Bay in the bushes for hours after the stream of gunfire started raining down on concert goers on Oct. 1.
The same man also claimed he was inside the room next door to the shooter when gunfire erupted on 22,000 country western fans — mostly Trump supporters — at an outdoor concert in the shadow of the MGM resort’s sprawling Mandalay Bay resort. Denver, CO – A man was shot and killed by police officers who opened fire on a moving vehicle because they believed it was being driven by a dangerous jail escapee they were attempting to capture.
Steven Nguyen, 27, was killed and Rafael Landeros, 23, was wounded after three Denver police officers began chasing the car they were driving and eventually fired several rounds into the vehicle after they claimed the men were not following orders and appeared to be searching for something in the car when they were ordered to show their hands. The presidents of Russia and the US discussed a possible arms race involving the two nations, and agreed that such an outcome was not desired by either, the Kremlin has confirmed.
The subject was discussed by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in a phone call on Tuesday, a Kremlin spokesman told journalists on Wednesday. “There was an agreement between the two leaders during their conversation that an arms race would be undesirable,” Dmitry Peskov said. Students across the nation walked out of school Wednesday in honor of the victims of the Parkland shooting last month, including a group of New London kindergarteners.
“We love school! We love school,” children in New London are chanting in a video posted on Facebook.
