WENATCHEE, Wash. – A wildfire fueled by high temperatures and strong winds roared into a Wenatchee neighborhood, forcing more than a thousand people to flee their homes and destroying more than a dozen structures, authorities said early Monday.

The blaze sparked Sunday afternoon was destroying everything in its path and was still burning out of control the next morning, said Rich Magnussen, a spokesman for the Chelan County Emergency Management office.   Continue reading “Homes, businesses destroyed in Wenatchee wildfires”

While things have normalized since the open thanks entirely to the SNB’s aggressive EUR-buying, CHF-selling intervention (good to see that central banks have read the BIS’ report and have learned from their prior intervention mistakes), earlier this morning we got a snapshot of what happens if and when the SNB, and then the ECB itself, finally lose control when as a result of the Greek crisis the contagion promptly spread a few hundred kilometers west to Italy where as the WSJ reported, “several Italian banks failed to start trading on Monday as fears over a Greek debt default induced many investors to shed peripheral stocks, including Italian, with banks suffering the most.”   Continue reading “Greek Contagion Spreads As Several Italian Bank Stocks Failed To Open”

A disturbing report published Wednesday by Human Rights Watch details how the Colombian military callously murdered thousands of innocent civilians and dressed their lifeless bodies in leftist rebels’ uniforms, just to artificially inflate the body count for a period of at least six years. The commander of the armed forces and other senior army brass knew about it the whole time.   Continue reading “Colombian Army Murdered Thousands of Civilians with the Help of US Tax Dollars”

Many think our government is for sale. However, by taking a look at the facts below provided by the Open Secrets, it is easy to understand where they are coming from. Looking back at Friday the 12th, the House voted on Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), the controversial bill that gives power to the executive branch to negotiate treaties. TPA limit’s Congress’ ability to better a trade deal by subjecting members of Congress to 90 days of reviewing the trade agreement, prohibiting any amendments on the implementing legislation, and giving them an up or down vote. TPA passed with a mere 219-211 vote with only 218 needed to pass. The real shocker comes from the amount of money each Representative received for a yes vote. In total, $197,869,145 was given to Representatives for a yes vote where as $23,065,231 was given in opposition.   Continue reading “Almost $200 Million Donated to Representatives to Pass TPA”

Not long after the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012, the gun grabbers crawled out of the woodwork, demanding new legislation to hinder gun ownership for millions of law-abiding Americans (as they are wont to do after every mass shooting). One of the measures that managed to be signed into law as a result of these bleating cries, was the NY SAFE Act, which restricts magazine capacities, demands background checks for ammunition, and forces gun owners to register their “assault rifles,” which are broadly defined. These are a just a few of the draconian demands found in the SAFE Act.   Continue reading “Vast Majority of NY Gun Owners Refuse to Comply with SAFE Act”

James BoydThe Daily Sheeple – by Joshua Krause

I’m sure many of you remember the death of James Boyd. He was the mentally ill homeless man who was killed by Albuquerque police officers Kieth Sandy and Dominique Perez, back in March of 2014. You may also recall the graphic video of his death, as well as the incriminating recording of comments made by Kieth Sandy before the confrontation, both of which make it clear that James Boyd was murdered by these officers.

For the longest time it seemed like these officers would never face justice for what they did, but that may be about to change. Prosecutor Randi McGinn announced on Monday that she intends to charge the two officers with second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter, and aggravated battery. The prosecution will lay out their evidence to a judge in August, who will decide if Perez and Sandy should be taken to court.   Continue reading “Albuquerque Cops Who Killed Homeless Man Are Facing Murder Charges”

The Vatican on Friday signed a historic first accord with Palestine, two years after officially recognising it as a state.

The accord, a treaty covering the life and activity of the Church in Palestine, was the first since the Vatican recognised the Palestinian state in February 2013.

The treaty, which took 15 years of negotiations to complete, was agreed in principle last month and bitterly condemned by Israel as a setback for the peace process.   Continue reading “Vatican signs historic accord with Palestine”

Unbeknownst to the general public, their elected politicians do not create the policy that binds their national destiny domestically or within the arena of geopolitics. Instead, corporate-financier funded think tanks do – teams of unelected policymakers which transcend elections, and which produce papers that then become the foundation of legislation rubber stamped by “legislators,” as well as the enumerated talking points repeated ad naseum by the corporate-media.

Such a policy paper has been recently written by the notorious US policy think-tank, the Brookings Institution, titled, “Deconstructing Syria: Towards a regionalized strategy for a confederal country.” The signed and dated open-conspiracy to divide, destroy, then incrementally occupy a sovereign nation thousands of miles from America’s shores serves as a sobering example of how dangerous and enduring modern imperialism is, even in the 21st century.   Continue reading “US To Begin Invasion of Syria”

Citing a lack of candor by the government in its court papers, a federal judge has ordered the return of $167,000 seized from a Hawaiian man’s motor home during a traffic stop near Elko.

State and local law enforcement officers stopped Straughn Gorman twice within 50 minutes in January 2013 as he was driving the motor home west on Interstate 80 between Wells and Elko, according to court documents.   Continue reading “Judge orders return of $167,000 seized by authorities on the highway”

Extortion 17 was the call sign of a chinook helicopter carrying 17 Navy SEALs, who were a part of SEAL team six (who allegedly took out Osama bin Laden), along with a few Army Rangers, National Guard Pilots and at least 7 unknown Afghan soldiers. In a recent book, author and former Navy JAG officer Don Brown had outlined things about the largest one-day loss of life in the Afghan ware that many simply refuse to report on. In an exclusive interview, Brown, told Freedom Outpost that is looking at all of the relevant evidence that his conclusion is that American Special Forces in Afghanistan have, in essence, been under the command of the Afghan government. When it comes to preventing the kind of blood loss that is caused by traumatic injury, there are only so many options to choose from. Until you get to the hospital, you’re mostly limited to applying pressure to the wound, or forming a tourniquet. Fortunately there have been some pretty impressive advances in the emergency medical field, such as QuikClot, which has proven to be a revolutionary life saver. However, there’s a new type of field dressing that will be hitting the market this year, and it may prove to be far more impressive than QuikClot. It also might be replacing a significant portion of your first aid kit by the end of the decade.   Continue reading “New Plant Based Gel Can Stop Bleeding in Seconds”

Police and Child Protective Services in Maryland twice removed the Meitiv children, 10 and 6, from their parents for child endangerment because they played alone at a nearby park.

The generation that grew up as latchkey kids is now being called “free range” parents if they let their children play outside unattended. And they’re being charged with neglect.   Continue reading “Free Range Parents Cleared: CPS Declares Kids Playing Outside Alone is Not Neglect”

With another recent mass shooting having taken place last week in Charleston, South Carolina – such a crisis is the perfect opportunity for the President to yet again stop just short of using the “C-word” – confiscation. Or “C” for the gun Control he promoted.

Before any victims were even in the ground, he exploited the tragedy for politicized gun control agendas.    Continue reading “Police Killed More Americans In 2014 Than All U.S. Mass Shootings Combined”

Up-armored “Humvees” and “Striker units” with a “peculiar satellite” installed on them, a “green dome antennae in the back,” were spotted on rail trains recently in both “Oregon” and “California,” according to a video posted by Dave Action Reporting on YouTube Monday.
