Kamala Harris’ choice for VP candidate Tim Walz backed giving illegal immigrants free tuition at Minnesota colleges, signing the measure into law as the state’s governor in 2023. According to a report from the SCRIPPS News, in 2023 an omnibus education bill that was signed a bill into law by Walz, the “North Star Promise” program allowed for illegal immigrants to apply for free college tuition within the Minnesota State and University of Minnesota school systems if their families make less than $80,000 a year. Egypt has just issued a rare and oddly specific NOTAM, or Notice to Air Missions alert, instructing all of its airlines to avoid Iranian airspace for a 3-hour period in the overnight and early morning hours of Thursday. Some other countries have since followed in issuing similar do not fly alerts, including the UK.
“All Egyptian carriers shall avoid overflying Tehran. No flight plan will be accepted overflying such territory,” the notice says. Specifically the instructions are valid from 01:00 to 04:00GMT (or 9pm to 12am US Eastern). Will the big expected Iranian retaliation be tonight? Zero hour may be approaching fast.

Given that Kamala Harris seemed so set on choosing Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her vice presidential candidate that a leaked video even apparently revealed his selection, the complete about-face her campaign has taken by choosing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate instead has become the latest surprise in the whirlwind that the build up to the 2024 Presidential Election has become. However, a cursory review of Walz record shows that his selection should come as no surprise at all as he is the embodiment of the progressive policy making destroying America. Harvard’s English department will be featuring a “Queer/Medieval” class in the upcoming spring 2025 semester. The course will be an “introduction to queer theory as an intellectual tool with which to read texts far removed from the political, cultural, and social discourses from which queer theory emerged,” specifically, in this case, medieval texts.
