The FBI has been ordered to investigate allegations that claim the agency intimidated a witness and compelled him not to testify at a recent trial over evidence related to the Oklahoma City bombing.

According to theSalt Lake Tribune, US District Judge Clark Waddoups scheduled a November 13th hearing on the matter, in which Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue accused the FBI of threatening to eliminate a former undercover agent’s health benefits if he took the stand. Microsoft Corp. is currently sitting on almost $29.6 billion it would owe in U.S. taxes if it repatriated the $92.9 billion of earnings it is keeping offshore, according to disclosures in the company’s most recent annual filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The U.S. reportedly has begun flying surveillance drones over Syria days after President Obama authorized their use.

The Associated Press reported that the flights had started Tuesday, a move that could pave the way for airstrikes against Islamic State militants based in northern Syria. America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is to send 13 counter-terrorism officers to the UK to help identify “terror hot-spots” within the UK. The first three will arrive on Tuesday with ten more expected within the week, according to the Express.

The move is a response to the growing threat from British jihadis, and come in the light of the execution of James Foley by a man suspected of being a UK national. The team will liaise with the Metropolitan Police’s secretive SO15 counter-terrorism command and MI5. The National Security Agency built its own search engine and shares hundreds of billions of digital records with federal law enforcement and several other U.S. government agencies, The Intercept investigative site reported Monday.

I live in the Valais in Switzerland, a once beautiful area with breathtaking views, once boasting over 300 sunny blue skies a year. This was due to the fact that we are surrounded by the Alps which create a natural block to the passage of clouds. Unfortunately this is a thing of the past. A concealed carrier in Georgia is being heralded by police today after he opened fire on an armed robber. Police say the man’s actions likely lead to an arrest.

It all went down at a Gamestop store in Macon, GA. Tim Jackson, the concealed carrier, was there to buy a game for his son. Things went wrong when a man armed with a rifle that Jackson described as an “assault rifle” walked in and robbed the place.

MECHANICSVILLE, S.C. — Darlington County authorities say a burglary suspect was shot to death, and three others were hurt after a break-in at a home.

Area media outlets report Sheriff Wayne Byrd said two men broke into the home Friday, assaulted two women and hit a boy in the head with a gun.

Byrd said the homeowner, who was asleep in a back room, came out and exchanged gunfire with the intruders, one of whom killed the family dog before fleeing.

It’s no surprise to us that crime is taking a nose-dive in the state of Illinois after they became the last state in the country to allow it’s citizens to carry concealed firearms. Numbers are now coming out that show just how much of an effect it’s had in it’s first few months.

“Just the idea that the criminals don’t know who’s armed and who isn’t has a deterrence effect,” said Richard Pearson, executive director of the Illinois State Rifle Association.

The number of robberies that have led to arrest in the city has dropped 20 percent from last year. Reports of burglary and vehicle thefts are also down over 20 percent. And finally in the first quarter, the city’s homicide rate was the lowest it’s been in 56 years.

The tragic joke of the whole thing is that while the TSA molests Senior citizens and harasses pregnant women and children with time-wasting, invasive searches that have yet to stop one terror episode of any kind, ISIS is beginning to slither in through the porous, open border that Obama refuses to close up. FDR famously once said that “nothing in politics happens by accident. If it happens, it was planned.” Open borders, Islamic terrorism streaming in unstopped. Yes, that’s the plan.

Dina Shehadeh, 17, was about to begin her senior year of high school in Ohio where she was born and raised. But two weeks ago, after spending the summer with her extended family in the West Bank, she was separated from her mother and detained inside of Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv. Israeli security then told Dina that she was not allowed to leave the country—at least not through the airport.

While detained on the night of June 13, 2014 when she was scheduled to fly on El Al flight 1,  Dina learned to her surprise that Israeli security no longer considered her an American citizen with American travel privileges. After being passed by the California Senate two weeks ago, the new kill switch measure calls on smartphone makers to offer a remote disablement function that activates upon initial device setup. The law is set to take effect by July 2015. 

Introduced by Sen. Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) in February, the kill switch initiative looks to thwart a growing smartphone theft “epidemic” by building in security features that allow users to remotely disable their device when stolen or lost. A federal judge has overturned part of a California law requiring a 10-day waiting period for gun buyers, ruling that it does not apply to those who already own firearms.
