ARVADA, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say the man who was shot to death by suburban Denver police after holding a 13-year-old boy hostage for nearly 18 hours had a criminal record and was wanted for a parole violation.

Officers fatally shot 34-year-old Don Pooley on Tuesday when he went to the door of the house he was barricaded in to retrieve unspecified items left by negotiators, Arvada police said. When a soldier is shot on the battlefield, the emergency treatment can seem as brutal as the injury itself. A medic must pack gauze directly into the wound cavity, sometimes as deep as 5 inches into the body, to stop bleeding from an artery. It’s an agonizing process that doesn’t always work–if bleeding hasn’t stopped after three minutes of applying direct pressure, the medic must pull out all the gauze and start over again. Researchers are set to embark on a project to gather samples of kelp from the U.S. West Coast and analyze them for potential radioactive contamination caused by the Fukushima nuclear disaster unleashed nearly three years ago.

I just want to give you all a heads up!

My debit card information was stolen. They started to use my card yesterday. They only got two charges through and it threw up a red flag and the fraud division of my bank put a hold on my card! The stores that the thieves shopped at and were successful were web hosting and Dr. Jays. When they purchased at Dr. Jays, the transaction was from New York and that threw the red flag. They tried to charge $1019 at Best Buy, another $300 something at Best Buy, another $300 something at NBA.com, another $300 something at Dr. Jays, and several other small ones that I can’t remember.   Continue reading “My Debit Card Info was Stolen and Other Bank Info”

    The vast majority Americans have come to the conclusion that their congressman is an idiot, and although an unfortunate condition of mental stagnation may seem obvious at first glance, it’s usually not the case. The fact of the matter is that your congressman probably isn’t an idiot at all, but instead he’s an evil sociopath, who regularly uses idiocy and incompetence as a defense whenever his nefarious deeds are exposed.

So where exactly do these miscreants who call themselves our “representatives” come from? Why can we only choose between one lying whore or another when it’s time for another fraudulent election? A top Republican senator is calling on Attorney General Eric Holder to provide a legal defense for President Obama’s planned executive orders as outlined in his State of the Union address last week.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, wrote a letter to Holder Monday demanding the Justice Department publicly release its “opinions, analyses and conclusions” regarding the legality of the orders. Grassley states in the letter he wants Holder to do so because he is concerned Obama’s use of executive action is an attempt to circumvent the Constitution, and asks him to respond by Feb. 14.   Continue reading “Sen. When the “impartial” Congressional Budget Office first attempted to predict the impact on the US labor force as a result of the administration healthcare ponzi scheme, also known affectionately as Obamacare and less affectionately by other names, it estimated that 800,000 Americans would drop out of the labor force by 2021.
