A new bill, HR 1313, has been introduced by North Carolina Congresswoman Virginia Foxx which is designed to give employers absolute power over the employee by mandating whatever they deem to be proper “heath prevention” measures. These measures would include submitting DNA records as well as mandatory vaccinations and other perceived “health preventive” measures designed for the “greater good” of the general public. The result of not complying with this new law of course would be losing your job.   Continue reading “Comply Or Lose Your Job- HR 1313 Would Force Vaccination and DNA Submission”

Life is a team sport. It’s not enough to have individual excellence; we all exist within communities and environments affecting us whether we pay attention to them or not. 2017 Earth finds humanity in an Orwellian reality; a captured civilization of two paradoxical co-existing conditions:   Continue reading “3-minute analogy: .01% falls when ‘Under Pressure’ to free humanity; 5-minute analogy: US military/government/media serves evil rogue state empire by ‘just following orders’”

It is now three years since our brother, Diggerdan, left us for what has to be a better place.  The passage of time is mind-blowing as the present is devoured and put into the past.

There are often subjects that arise in the Trenches that make me wonder what Dan’s comment would have been.  Dan was a unique man and stood out among his contemporaries.

I hope Dan is faring well wherever his spirit lies and look forward to our conversation when I see him again on the other side.  Dan’s death was unexpected and there are a lot of questions I would have liked to have asked him.   Continue reading “A Salute To Diggerdan”

The world’s first robot policeman has officially joined Dubai’s police force. While it’s not exactly the Robocop from the movie, officers in the United Arab Emirates may want to get used to them, as the bots may soon account for a quarter of their colleagues.

The autonomous Robocop entered the line of duty on Sunday by greeting guests and patrolling the halls at the three-day Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC). Plans are in place to have the machine on the streets in popular Dubai areas when the expo ends on Tuesday evening.   Continue reading “Dubai’s first ‘Robocop’ begins patrolling streets”

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is crediting changes in tactics ordered by President Trump for increasing the pressure on the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, and leaving the beleaguered fighters with no avenue of escape.

“He directed a tactical shift from shoving ISIS out of safe locations in an attrition fight to surrounding the enemy in their strongholds so we can annihilate ISIS,” Mattis said Friday during a Pentagon briefing on the counter-ISIS campaign.   Continue reading “Trump-ordered tactics have left ISIS ‘no escape,’ Jim Mattis says”

Police in Colorado released body camera footage Wednesday from an officer-involved shooting that occurred Friday. Video from the Littleton Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office showed a deputy being attacked by a driver after he attempted to offer assistance to the car parked on the side of the road.

The driver attacked Deputy Brad Proulx with the butt of a gun after the officer went to help him. The body camera recording showed Proulx approaching the vehicle on the passenger side first before moving toward the driver’s side when the driver got out of the car wielding a rifle.   Continue reading “Body Camera Captures Officer Attacked By Rifle-Wielding Suspect”
