Detroit — Michigan State Police will investigate an incident in which officers from a multi-jurisdictional task force were captured on video hitting and kicking a carjacking suspect.

State Police Lt. Michael Shaw confirmed the agency would conduct the probe. ALBUQUERQUE, Jan. 13 (UPI) — An undercover police officer was shot multiple times by another cop in Albuquerque, N.M., in a problematic drug bust attempting to arrest two suspects for selling $60 worth of methamphetamine.

The shooting took place in a McDonald’s parking lot. The undercover police officer was shot by Lt. GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — A former Glasgow police officer is suing a Barren County gun store after being handed a loaded gun from under the counter and accidentally shooting his finger off.

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – District Attorney Kari Brandenburg plans to file murder charges on Monday against the two Albuquerque police officers who shot James Boyd in the Sandia Foothills last March, according to multiple sources with firsthand knowledge of her decision.

It will mark the first time an APD officer has faced criminal charges for shooting someone in the line of duty in New Mexico’s largest city.
