GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK — Great Basin National Park employees are trying to solve the mystery of an 132-year-old Winchester rifle found in the park.

The rifle was found and recovered by park archaeologists in November, according to the Great Basin National Park Facebook page. The firearm was found leaning against a tree in a remote rocky outcrop. An Alabama middle school asked students to bring canned goods to school so they can throw them at potential gunman.

W.F. In Salt Lake City, Utah, a man named James Dudley Barker, 42 was shot dead by a police officer last week after offering his routine door-to-door snow-shoveling services.

The altercation was recorded on body-cam footage until it was abruptly cut before the shooting; the cops claim the bodycam was broken at the time the video ceases.
