Yale students are being urged to stay indoors until further notice after what the school is calling a confirmed report of a person with a gun on or near Old Campus.

If you want to see a true dirt-bag politician in action watch Nancy Pelosi attempt to backtrack on her comments about the Affordable Care Act on this week’s Meet the Press.
You might want to have a barf bag handy, because this one is chock full of platitudes, deceptive doublespeak and flat-out lies, with Pelosi going so far as to say that not only is Obamacare legislation affordable for every American as originally promised, but that Americans will be jumping for joy at her and President Obama’s fundamental transformation of our health care system. An 11-year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department is accused of sexually assaulting a teenager after pulling her over for a traffic stop Friday morning.
Police say 40-year-old Jackie Neal pulled over the 19-year-old and then groped the woman before placing her in handcuffs and sexually assaulting her in the back of his squad car, according to San Antonio Express News. WASHINGTON — The nation’s largest news organizations lodged a complaint Thursday against the White House for imposing unprecedented limitations on photojournalists covering President Barack Obama, which they say have harmed the public’s ability to monitor its own government.

While many are familiar with the Zapruder film, the footage below is less well known. It shows the Secret Service agent nearest to JFK apparently being told to stand down moments before Kennedy’s assassination in Dealey Plaza 50 years ago today.
The clip appears to show Secret Service agent Emory Roberts standing up and ordering Donald Lawton and Clint Hill, the two Secret Service bodyguards on either side of the presidential vehicle, to stand down, therefore preventing them from doing their job as human shields to the president. The current transition to electronic government (“e-gov”) means ditching all the paper + telephones + offices, and digitising everything, within the next few years. Driving licences, health records, prescriptions, taxes, benefits, voting, money … all of them will be digital. To access these services, each citizen must get a smart-chip to identify themselves to the government via an Identity Provider, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, PayPal, LinkedIn or Microsoft.
The chip, called a secure element, can either be in a card, or a mobile phone, and you’ll have to hang onto it for dear life, because without it, your life would fall apart. Fourteen more correctional officers at the Baltimore City Detention Center have been indicted on corruption charges, shedding more light on the relationship between the infamous Black Guerrilla Family and the officers in the jail.
The indictments were unsealed on Thursday.
