A Warren police officer has been fired for scalping a detained woman, while she was in custody. Surveillance cameras caught the incident and the authorities say her actions were unnecessary. It seems a bit mild to say it was unnecessary. It was sadistic and cruel. One woman trying to de-feminize another, trying to break the woman’s spirit.

Charda Gregory of Detroit was taken into police custody back in November, accused of disorderly conduct, destroying property at a Warren hotel and assaulting a police officer. While she was processed she was placed in a restraining chair, was strapped in and a Warren police officer cut her hair with scissors. David Griem, Warren City Attorney, and two police administrators reviewed the video several times and unanimously agreed to terminate the police officer. Thousands of criminal drug cases from around central and northern Florida may have been compromised by a police chemist, now under investigation for allegedly stealing pain medication from a Panhandle evidence room over several years.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Saturday that it has begun an investigation of the chemist, who works in the Pensacola Regional Crime Laboratory and is connected to about 2600 criminal cases since 2006 in about 30 Florida counties. After public outrage and legal proceedings, a judge has simply thrown out the indictment of Officer Richard Haste, who gunned down an unarmed teen, Ramarley Graham, inside his own home, without a warrant. Haste was facing manslaughter charges until the judge tossed the indictment.

This story got a minuscule amount of coverage when compared to other stories from the MSM. SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Prosecutors filed charges Friday against two former Boy Scout leaders accused of toppling one of the ancient rock formations at Utah’s Goblin Valley State Park.

Police in Pinal County, Arizona, claimed that the shooting death of a suspected car thief two weeks ago came after the man had turned to reach for a weapon. But video surfaced this week from a bystander, showing that the suspect had turned his back to officers, with his hands held high in the air.

Manuel Longoria, of Mesa, led police on a 40-minute chase in Eloy, and only stopped after sheriff’s deputies crippled the stolen Toyota Corolla with a tire-popping device. Witnesses said that Longoria told police after he got out of the car, surrounded, that he wouldn’t be taken alive.
