San Diego, Calif. – As TFTP originally reported, two active duty U.S. Marines were charged with felony assault and battery charges stemming from an altercation with San Diego police officers and faced the possibility of being dishonorably discharged from the service, as well as up to three years in prison for the false charges filed against them. CENTRALIA, Wash. – Several people were voluntarily shocked with a Taser by a police officer during a charity softball tournament in Centralia on July 2. The department is now receiving complaints questioning whether the demonstration was appropriate.

The Guns N’ Hoses fundraiser at Borst Park is a gathering of police, fire and military personnel. After the softball game, members of the military asked to be shocked with a Taser gun, according to Centralia police. A popular pendulum-style ride at an amusement park in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad broke on Sunday while the ride was operating. The accident was caught on video.
