The George Washington University student body voted Thursday to “remove and replace” its mascot, the George the Colonial.

According to the GWU Joint Elections Commission, 54 percent of students who voted in this spring’s Student Association elections supported the removal of the Colonial as the school’s mascot. It was not immediately clear what students plan to replace the Colonial mascot with or even if school administrators will act on the results of the referendum. Joe Biden appears to have made a major tactical error last year when he bragged to an audience of foreign policy experts how he threatened to hurl Ukraine into bankruptcy if their top prosecutor, General Viktor Shokin, wasn’t immediately fired, according to The Hill‘s John Solomon.

In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. –The Hill

(INTELLIHUB) — U.S. Border Patrol agent Chris Cabrera appeared on CNN on Monday where he explained that the border crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border and influx of illegal immigrants attempting to cross the border is so bad that agents have become overwhelmed and could use the help of port agents in the field.

Vallejo, CA — Willie McCoy was an aspiring 20-year-old rapper whose life was brought to a tragic end in February when six police officers decided to kill him as he slept in his car in the parking lot of a Taco Bell. Now, after nearly two months, police have released the body camera showing this execution.
