Denver, CO – A man was shot and killed by police officers who opened fire on a moving vehicle because they believed it was being driven by a dangerous jail escapee they were attempting to capture.
Steven Nguyen, 27, was killed and Rafael Landeros, 23, was wounded after three Denver police officers began chasing the car they were driving and eventually fired several rounds into the vehicle after they claimed the men were not following orders and appeared to be searching for something in the car when they were ordered to show their hands. DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – A passenger mutiny onboard a Greyhound bus bound for Dallas forced a driver out from behind the wheel.
Terrified passengers say that driver was falling asleep and it led to a confrontation caught on video.

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — A car loaded with propane tanks ran through the main gate at Travis Air Force Base in northern California on Wednesday night. Military personnel ran up to the burning car that exploded in flame after breaching the security gates.

Las Vegas, NV — It’s been close to six months since Stephen Paddock allegedly rented a room inside the Mandalay Bay Casino Resort in Las Vegas and then opened fire on on thousands of innocent people, killing 58 or them and injuring hundreds of others. Since that tragic day, victims, media, activists, and citizens have been calling for the release of surveillance footage that shows Paddock inside the hotel and, until now, these demands have fallen on deaf ears. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Two officers yelled for a suspect to show his hands, then shouted “Gun! Gun! Gun!” moments before fatally shooting the man, who turned out to be unarmed, audio from body camera footage released by Sacramento police shows.
Footage from body cameras and an overhead helicopter does not clearly depict what the man, who was only holding a cellphone, was doing in the moments before the police fired on Sunday night. The shooting happened in the backyard of the man’s grandparents’ home, where he was staying. The police did not find a gun at the scene.
