Gun Rights Advocates Steamed Over No Guns Permitted Rule at Toby Keiths I Love This Bar & Grill in Woodbridge, Va.The Blaze – by Dave Urbanski

A sign on a restaurant door that reads “No Guns Permitted” isn’t likely to turn many heads at most restaurants.

But when the other, bigger sign heralding the name of the establishment reads “Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill,” you can bet a few feathers are getting ruffled.   Continue reading “‘No Guns’: Patrons Stunned to See Restrictive Gun Sign at Pro-Firearm Country Music Star’s Restaurant”

Apparently the Brooklyn, NY shopping center that was put “on tilt” by a horde of teenagers the day after Christmas wasn’t the only public place under attack this holiday season. On Christmas day, over 600 people, mostly teenagers, were involved in a vicious brawl at the Hollywood River City 14 movie theater in Jacksonville, Florida.

It all began when a group of approximately 30 African-American males stormed the theater because they apparently felt entitled to see the movie without paying. (source)   Continue reading “A Mob of More Than 600 Teens Laid Siege to a Florida Movie Theater”

The serenity of President Barack Obama’s Hawaiian vacation was rattled a little on Saturday when demonstrators aired grievances against unmanned aircraft and other issues in a small protest zone near the first family’s upscale rented house.

Returning from an early morning gym visit at nearby Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Obama’s motorcade passed a few dozen protesters holding signs with slogans including “Drones: Unethical and Illegal,” “U.S. Bases Out” and “Close Guantanamo Now.” Others expressed their opposition to genetically modified foods.    Continue reading “Obama faces protests on Hawaiian vacation”

The growth of city cyclingYahoo News – by JASON KEYSER

CHICAGO (AP) — Early blasts of snow, ice and below-zero temperatures haven’t stopped a surprising number of Chicago cyclists from spinning through the slush this winter, thanks in part to a city so serious about accommodating them that it deploys mini-snow plows to clear bike lanes.

The snow-clearing operation is just the latest attention city leaders have lavished on cycling, from a growing web of bike lanes to the nation’s second largest shared network of grab-and-go bicycles stationed all over town. But it also spotlights questions that have been raised here, a city wrestling with deep financial problems, and across the country.   Continue reading “As city cycling grows, so does bike tax temptation”

Hot Springs AR Act 746 Open Carry Celebration Walk AmmoLand – by Dean Weingarten

Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)-  The Harrison City Council was asked about the cities position on Act 746, which seems to have brought Arkansas law in line with the State and Federal constitutions.

The law reformed previous Arkansas law, which made it illegal to carry weapons in Arkansas, with exceptions, to one that made it illegal to carry weapons with the intent to use them illegally.   Continue reading “Arkansas – Gun Law Questions Sidestepped By Harrison City”

Nestled in the tranquil Connecticut River watershed of southwest New Hampshire, the city of Keene has largely avoided the violent unrest common to many other urban areas. With a population of only 23,409 people, Keene’s violent crime index is about half the national average.

Despite the calm, however, local authorities didn’t think twice about requesting a BearCat armored counterattack vehicle from the Department of Homeland Security.   Continue reading “Why Does the Environmental Protection Agency Need Its Own SWAT Team?”

The Real Grand Chessboard and the Profiteers of WarGlobal Research – by Prof Peter Dale Scott

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.” Dwight David Eisenhower, “Military-Industrial Complex Speech,” 1961, [1]   Continue reading “The Real Grand Chessboard and the Profiteers of War”

In response to rapidly dwindling global honey bee populations – vital in pollinating a third of the world’s crops – environmental and food safety groups have sued the EPA for approving bee-ravaging pesticides despite damning evidence of their effects.

The Center for Food Safety filed in mid-December a legal brief in support of a lawsuit backed by many organizations that seeks a reversal of the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) May decision to approve sulfoxaflor – a type of insecticide chemical known as a neonicotinoid that is associated with mass death among bee populations worldwide.   Continue reading “US govt’s wanton approval of harmful pesticides fueling ‘bee holocaust’ – lawsuit”

William H. Pauley IIIMilitia News

William H. Pauley III is a traitorous and corrupt U.S. District Judge that is obviously in the back pocket of the Obama administration.

U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III ruled that the National Security Agency’s bulk collection of American phone data is lawful resulting in the dismissal of a complaint originally filed by the American Civil Liberties Union. The decision was made by Judge William H. Pauley III shortly after U.S. District Judge Richard Leon in Washington ruled that the NSA program “almost certainly” violated the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution against unreasonable searches. Judge Leon actually didn’t go far enough because it “most certainly” violates the Fourth Amendment. This new ruling by Judge Pauley proves without question that he is a traitor.   Continue reading “U.S. District Judge William H. Pauley III Is A Traitor.”

A United States federal judge has accused President Barack Obama’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of being complicit in helping Mexican drug cartels and felons inside America smuggle illegal aliens into the country.

In a court order he signed on Dec. 13, 2013, U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas wrote that four times in the last four weeks he has heard troubling cases involving the DHS’s complicity in helping smuggle people across the border to their final destination.   Continue reading “Judge: DHS Complicit in Human Trafficking that Helps Fund Drug Cartels”
