Earlier we published news about a Sheriff claiming a massive federal raid on the Bundy Ranch in Nevada is imminent. The Sheriff even says the raid could possibly include violence as the fed was not likely to initiate a scenario it is not prepared to win. Especially not after the humiliating defeat suffered by the BLM as it was forced to retreat last Saturday.
The Bundy Ranch will not be caught off guard, though, as news reports make it clear the property is now prepared with heavily armed security. Continue reading “Bundy Ranch Now Surrounded by Heavily Armed Guards as Talk of Federal Raid Picks Up”
It is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as when they were younger. When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are oversensitive, and there’s nothing worse than an oversensitive woman.
My name is Ron. Let me relate how I handled the situation with my wife, Carol Anne. When I retired a few years ago, it became necessary for Carol Anne to get a full-time job, along with her part-time job, both for extra income and for the health benefits that we needed. Shortly after she started working, I noticed she was beginning to show her age. I usually get home from the golf club about the same time she gets home from work. The United States Navy has finally christened a first-of-its-kind, state-of-the-art ship that, at 610-feet-long and roughly $7 billion, is the largest and most expensive stealth destroyer ever built.
Initially, the Navy wanted to commission the construction of 32 different DDG-1000 Zumwalt-class destroyers, but escalating costs amid nearly two decades of development forced the Pentagon to eventually pursue only seven ships, then three. When the 105 Freeway in Paramount was closed on Thursday evening because a man was contemplating a suicide attempt on an overpass, some Angelenos who were stuck on the road thought it would be the perfect time to take selfies.
Authorities received calls around 5:30 p.m. from drivers that there was a man threatening to commit suicide on the overpass, according to the L.A. Times. The CHP shut down the 105 Freeway from both directions starting at 6:30 p.m. and reopened it at 9:30 p.m. when they managed to convince the man to not jump, reported the Press-Telegram. The New American – by Joe Wolverton, II, J.D.
In an April 9 opinion piece published in the Washington Post, commentator George Will praises the Goldwater Institute’s Compact for America and its component calling for an Article V constitutional convention.
Will points out a few of the proposal’s “benefits,” insisting that the balanced budget amendment (BBA) that it aims to enact “delivers immediate benefits to constituents.” Unfortunately, Will’s analysis of the Compact for America ignores several of its distinctly unconstitutional provisions. THE STATEMENT AT ISSUE:
“As a result of [Supreme Court] rulings, the Second Amendment, which was adopted to protect the states from federal interference with their power to ensure that their militias were ‘well regulated,’ has given federal judges the ultimate power to determine the validity of state regulations of both civilian and militia-related uses of arms. That anomalous result can be avoided by adding five words to the text of the Second Amendment to make ti unambiguously conform to the original intent of the draftsmen. As so amended, it would read: ‘A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms when serving in the militia shall not be infringed.’ ” Continue reading “Propaganda Alert: Does the Second Amendment need to be amended?”

Seizing upon spreading protests and building occupations in eastern Ukraine in response to February’s Western-backed putsch in Kiev, the Obama administration is escalating its accusations, threats and provocations against Russia.
In the clearest sign of intensifying US involvement in the Ukraine crisis, the White House admitted—after vehement denials—that CIA Director John Brennan flew into Kiev over the weekend. Brennan arrived, under a false name, for discussions on how to further exploit the crisis that the US and its allies deliberately triggered by orchestrating the February coup.
