Sport Smoke BattleField Smoke GrenadeOn our broadcast last night Henry brought up a great idea for confusing the enemy during an invasion of your home. To add to the confusion that they will face when they enter your home you can use smoke.

This idea could give you the opportunity needed to take out any invaders and be able to escape the situation.

Think about the confusion that an invader would face. They kick your door in expecting full submission. They get a face full of home made CS, smoke grenades are going off and then they take two to the chest. Game over for the invader.    Continue reading “Smoke Grenades”

The Dana Show

By now you’re familiar with the standoff between the federal government, i.e. the Bureau of Land Management, and 67 year-old rancher Cliven Bundy. (If not, check the backstory and my radio interview with him here.) The BLM asserts their power through the expressed desire to protect the endangered desert tortoise, a tortoise so “endangered” that their population can no longer be contained by the refuge constructed for them so the government is closing it and euthanizing over a thousand tortoises. The tortoises, the excuse that BLM has given for violating claims to easements and running all but one lone rancher out of southern Nevada, is doing fine. In fact, the tortoise has lived in harmony with cattle in the Gold Butte, Clark County Nevada for over a hundred years, or as long as Cliven Bundy’s family has lived on the land as ranchers. In fact, the real threat to it is urbanization, not cattle.   Continue reading “The Real Story Behind The Bundy Ranch Harassment”

The U.S. Justice Department charged Thursday that an investigation of the Albuquerque police force found that the department “engages in a pattern or practice of use of excessive force, including deadly force.”

The allegations were contained in a letter from Jocelyn Samuels, acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division, to Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry and Police Chief Gorden Eden.   Continue reading “Justice: Albuquerque police use ‘excessive force’”

Could BLM leaseholds for fracking operations be the reason for recent Bundy Ranch standoff?Intellihub – by John Vibes

BUNKERVILLE, NEVADA (INTELLIHUB) — Earlier today, we reported on the intense standoff that is taking place at Bundy Ranch, where a rancher’s land has been surrounded by federal agents who are seeking to forcibly remove his livestock from disputed land.

The dispute has been initiated by a bureaucracy called The U.S. Bureau of Land Management, or BLM .  Since 1993, the federal agency has been attempting to annex areas of land that have been occupied by the same family of ranchers for many generations.  The land was occupied by this family well before the creation of the agency in 1946.   Continue reading “Could BLM leaseholds for fracking operations be the reason for recent Bundy Ranch standoff?”

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — Hauling a truckload of logs to a Southern Oregon mill last fall, Chris Hill noticed a sheriff’s deputy behind him and flashed his lights to warn a UPS driver coming the other way.

The deputy pulled over Hill on U.S. Highway 140 in White City and handed him a $260 ticket for improperly using his headlights, saying another deputy had seen the flashing lights from behind the UPS truck and alerted him to stop the log truck because of the signaling.   Continue reading “Flashing Headlights As Speed Trap Warning Is Protected Free Speech, Oregon Judge Rules”

Canada Free Press – by Judi McLeod

History is repeating itself on the Bundy Ranch, near Bunkerville, Nevada, where the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) spends its time and resources on “trespassing” cows.

Hardworking generation rancher Cliven Bundy—the last remaining rancher in the Southern Nevada county—is not the first and tragically won’t be the last American harassed by an overbearing, invading BLM.   Continue reading “Federal Government seizing “trespassing” cows from hard-working ranchers”

bitcoin revolutionFree-Man’s Perspective – by Paul Rosenberg

It has been interesting to see large numbers of people pay attention to Bitcoin in the past year or so. The reason for that attention was the exchange price of Bitcoin, which made a lot of early adopters wealthy. (One of the few times when the right guys got rich.)

The idea of getting rich quick always sells, and it did this time too. Along with it came a lot of investment talk, complaints about volatility, well-publicized government raids, central bank reports, and threats from tax men.   Continue reading “Bitcoin is a Revolution, not an Investment”

The National Popular Vote effort, which could see the 14 states with the largest populations decide the presidency, is more than halfway to its goal of legally bypassing the Electoral College established in the Constitution.

Last week, the Maine state Senate voted in support of the plan one week after both houses of the New York legislature overwhelmingly supported it.

Now the governors of both states will need to decide whether to formally back the National Popular Vote, or NPV.    Continue reading “Scheme to neutralize 36 states’ votes advances”

SEATTLE (AP) — After a year of requests, the U.S. Justice Department said Thursday it is giving Washington state access to an FBI database so it can conduct nationwide background checks on people who apply to run legal marijuana businesses.

In a statement first provided to The Associated Press, the department said allowing the checks is consistent with its priorities in letting legal marijuana experiments in Washington and Colorado move forward — including keeping people with troublesome criminal histories out of the industry.   Continue reading “Feds OK pot background checks by Washington state”
