Thanks to satellite weather photos, we’ve been able to observe a persistent, virtually permanent, huge, blocking High Pressure system off the West Coast for the last two months…most of November, December and into January.

We have watched the satellite photos reveal how storm after storm formed up, as usual, in the Kamchatka, Korea and Northern Japan (Fukushima) areas of the North West Pacific.

We’ve watched them move from West to East – like they have always done – to deliver their life-giving rain and snow to keep the US green and verdant.  These storm systems, wave after wave, fill our lakes and rivers with water, rain on our vast agricultural lands and cover the Sierras,  Cascades and Rockies with snow.   Continue reading “How The Pacific Storms Of 2013-2014 Were Trashed”

British Tornado jets have returned to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus after carrying out a fifth combat sortie over Iraq.

The pair returned to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, and BBC defence correspondent Jonathan Beale said there were “no reports of any weapons dropped”.

Unaccompanied minors who made up the summer spike at the border have moved to communities of all sizes, in nearly every state, Federal data indicates, to live with a relative and await immigration decisions. Earlier this summer when the unaccompanied minor crisis was at its peak (after really starting in October 2013) in Texas and Arizona, Border Patrol agents working inside processing facilities reported cases of Tuberculosis, scabies and other diseases being brought into the United States by unvaccinated illegal aliens. Warnings were issued by local communities about the impact these diseases could potentially have in the public school system where their children are educated. For example, protesters in Murrieta, California turned bus loads of illegal immigrants away, citing concerns about public health. Accused of going from hero to hoodlum in a single day, an NYPD cop has pleaded innocent to charges he drunkenly beat a woman after bursting into her apartment in his underwear.

Officer Eugene Donnelly’s hangover continued Monday at his arraignment in Bronx Supreme Court.

The man who jumped the White House fence this month and sprinted through the front door made it much farther into the building than previously known, overpowering one Secret Service officer and running through much of the main floor, according to three people familiar with the incident.

So, ok…if the United States really is producing more petroleum than Saudi Arabia, why then is gas still stuck at $3.30 per gallon on average nationwide? You would think that at the very least it would drop down to around $1.84 that is was in 2008, when Obama became president. Oh wait, I just answered my question. Never mind.

Three and a half months since the Iraqi army was spectacularly routed in northern Iraq by a far inferior force of Isis fighters, it is still seeing bases overrun because it fails to supply them with ammunition, food and water.
