U.S. Border Patrol agents have apprehended at least 474 aliens from terrorism-linked countries attempting to sneak into the country illegally this year alone, according to a leaked document obtained by Breitbart Texas.

ODENSE, Denmark, Sept. 18 (UPI) — A Danish town outfitted homeless volunteers with GPS devices to help officials track the routines of “those who just want to sit on a bench and drink beers.”

The failed Scottish vote to pull out from the United Kingdom stirred secessionist hopes for some in the United States, where almost a quarter of people are open to their states leaving the union, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll found.

HOUSTON, Texas — Department of Homeland Security Secretary (DHS) Jeh Johnson is pushing for the agency to create “Southcom,” a southern-based command to manage resources.

Southcom would aim to decrease illegal immigration across the U.S.-Mexico border and make it easier for officials to crack down on criminals, according to the Washington Times. The bodies of eight people – including three journalists – were found in Guinea after an Ebola health team came under attack two days ago, officials said. Meanwhile, the UN plans to deploy a special mission to fight the virus in the worst-hit countries.

The group, which included three doctors and three journalists, is said to have been attacked near Nzerekore, a city near Guinea’s southern tip. With the Ebola death toll now topping 2,600, the team was sent to the area to help raise awareness about the virus. The world’s population may reach 11 billion by 2011 – 2 billion more than previously anticipated – largely due to high birth rates on the African continent, according to a UN-led study. Can natural resources keep pace?

Researchers have long held the view that the number of people on the planet would grow to just 9 billion by 2100, and then stabilize or even decline.
