gamesssGun’s Save Lives – by Dad Cannon

A concealed carrier in Georgia is being heralded by police today after he opened fire on an armed robber. Police say the man’s actions likely lead to an arrest.

It all went down at a Gamestop store in Macon, GA. Tim Jackson, the concealed carrier, was there to buy a game for his son. Things went wrong when a man armed with a rifle that Jackson described as an “assault rifle” walked in and robbed the place.

Jackson, fearing that the man might become violent with other people or rob another store, ran to his car where his gun was stored. According to WMAZ, this is what happened next,   Continue reading “Concealed Carrier in Georgia Uses Handgun to Stop Robber Armed With Rifle”

The State

 — Darlington County authorities say a burglary suspect was shot to death, and three others were hurt after a break-in at a home.

Area media outlets report Sheriff Wayne Byrd said two men broke into the home Friday, assaulted two women and hit a boy in the head with a gun.

Byrd said the homeowner, who was asleep in a back room, came out and exchanged gunfire with the intruders, one of whom killed the family dog before fleeing.

One suspect was found dead in the front yard. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee identified him as 25-year-old Marquis Benjamin of Darlington.    Continue reading “Suspect killed, 3 injured in SC home invasion”

illinois+concealed+carry+permitConcealed Nation

It’s no surprise to us that crime is taking a nose-dive in the state of Illinois after they became the last state in the country to allow it’s citizens to carry concealed firearms. Numbers are now coming out that show just how much of an effect it’s had in it’s first few months.

“Just the idea that the criminals don’t know who’s armed and who isn’t has a deterrence effect,” said Richard Pearson, executive director of the Illinois State Rifle Association.

The number of robberies that have led to arrest in the city has dropped 20 percent from last year. Reports of burglary and vehicle thefts are also down over 20 percent. And finally in the first quarter, the city’s homicide rate was the lowest it’s been in 56 years.

These numbers are no coincidence.    Continue reading “Crime Rates Drop Across The Board Since Allowing Concealed Carry”

isis-muslim-terrorism-coming-into-united-states-already-here-through-open-southern-bordersNow The End Begins

The tragic joke of the whole thing is that while the TSA molests Senior citizens and harasses pregnant women and children with time-wasting, invasive searches that have yet to stop one terror episode of any kind, ISIS is beginning to slither in through the porous, open border that Obama refuses to close up. FDR famously once said that “nothing in politics happens by accident. If it happens, it was planned.” Open borders, Islamic terrorism streaming in unstopped. Yes, that’s the plan.

Former CIA covert operations officer Mike Baker said that he believes there is “a lot of communication” between ISIS and Mexican drug cartels given past efforts by al Qaeda to do likewise on Thursday’s “Laura Ingraham Show.”    Continue reading “ISIS Is Entering U.S. Through Our Open Southern Borders”

Dina Shehadeh, 17, was about to begin her senior year of high school in Ohio where she was born and raised. But two weeks ago, after spending the summer with her extended family in the West Bank, she was separated from her mother and detained inside of Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv. Israeli security then told Dina that she was not allowed to leave the country—at least not through the airport.

While detained on the night of June 13, 2014 when she was scheduled to fly on El Al flight 1,  Dina learned to her surprise that Israeli security no longer considered her an American citizen with American travel privileges. The Palestinian identification card her family filed for her the year before, a registry requirement for children of West Bank Palestinian ID holders, erases her rights as a U.S. citizen.    Continue reading “Palestinian-American teen denied access to Israel’s airport”

Public Intelligence, August 14, 2014

An intelligence assessment released July 22 by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis warns of an increasing trend of “anti-government violence” from what are described as “domestic violent extremists” inspired by the recent standoff at the Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada.  The report, titled “Domestic Violent Extremists Pose Increased Threat to Government Officials an Law Enforcement,” was originally obtained and published by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, a non-profit alliance of local state and federal resource professionals that has been advocating for criminal charges against Cliven Bundy and “militia snipers” involved in the April standoff with the Bureau of Land Management.     Continue reading “DHS Warns of “Domestic Violent Extremists” Targeting Government Officials, Law Enforcement”

What is the Difference Between the DNC and the CPUSA?Canada Free Press – by Alan Caruba

On the home page of the Communist Party USA it says “A better and peaceful world is possible—a world where people and nature come before profits. That’s socialism. That’s our vision. We are the Communist Party USA.”

No, it’s not Socialism, which is a watered down version of Communism. Real Communism is the kind that was practiced in the former Soviet Union. It can be found in Cuba and North Korea where the state controls all power and property, and the people have none.   Continue reading “What is the Difference Between the DNC and the CPUSA?”

Basic communications when the lights go outUS Crow – by Ron Hardin

I found that Discovery Channel presentation “When the lights go out” extremely interesting. In most instances it was accurate, as far as it went. They, of course, had to respect things like doctrine, patents, and copyright laws. Then too they were producing something to GUIDE the people to specific goals and locations. I will try not to be bound in those ways.   Continue reading “Basic American communications when the lights go out!”

“Just one mistake by a biotech company, we’ll be eating other people’s prescription drugs in our cornflakes.”

After being passed by the California Senate two weeks ago, the new kill switch measure calls on smartphone makers to offer a remote disablement function that activates upon initial device setup. The law is set to take effect by July 2015.

Introduced by Sen. Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) in February, the kill switch initiative looks to thwart a growing smartphone theft “epidemic” by building in security features that allow users to remotely disable their device when stolen or lost. Other states have forwarded similar legislation, though California is the first to place responsibility on manufacturers.     Continue reading “California governor signs ‘kill switch’ bill into law, required on all smartphones by 2015”

A federal judge has overturned part of a California law requiring a 10-day waiting period for gun buyers, ruling that it does not apply to those who already own firearms.

U.S. District Judge Anthony Ishii of Fresno ruled late last week that “10-day waiting periods impermissibly violate the Second Amendment” for gun-buyers who already passed background checks or are authorized to carry concealed weapons.   Continue reading “California Wait Period Doesn’t Apply to Gun Owners”

Everyone knows that you can be monitored through your cell phone, but did you know they can use it to monitor your computer activity too? - Graywolf Survival - http://graywolfsurvival.com/?p=3737Graywolf Survival

As you know if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I’ve written several articles on OPSEC. This one hits a lot closer to home.

In order to live in a technological society, you have to give up certain expectation of privacy from those who have the technology to tap into certain systems. If you email someone, you have to expect that someone could read those emails. If you talk on your cell phone, you have to expect that someone could overhear your conversation if they had the tech and chose to use it.   Continue reading “Is Big Brother spying on your computer – with your own cell phone?”

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.(AFP Photo / Spencer Platt)RT

The US Senator from Kentucky has warned that if Hillary Clinton, the former US Secretary of State, becomes the next American president, she could get the United States bogged down in yet another conflict in the Middle East.

Following in the footsteps of his Libertarian father, Ron Paul, who spent much of his lengthy political career demanding a more isolationist US foreign policy, Rand Paul told NBC’s Meet the Press that the 2016 presidential election could be “transformational” if a “war hawk” like Hillary Rodham Clinton gets into the Oval Office.   Continue reading “Hillary Clinton is a war hawk – Sen.
