Washington, DC –-(Ammoland.com)- UPDATE:  VA Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned Friday morning.

GOA thanks those of you who contacted your legislators over the past couple of weeks in response to our earlier email alert.

“With a gun a man can rob a bank , with a bank a man can rob the world.” – Carter Glass, co-author of the Glass-Steagall Act.

Actually, the economy is much worse than this graph indicates because it assumes the governments of the United States and the European Union are telling us the truth. John Williams of Shadow Stats says the real inflation rate is 9.7%. The federal government said the GDP contracted at 1% in the first quarter but you get a much more severe and more realistic image of that contraction when you use the real inflation rate.   Continue reading “So What Happens When Government Lies Are Not Enough?”

Children as young as nine are to be prescribed drugs which delay the onset of puberty as the first step towards a sex change operation, according to reports. The issue is intricately complicated and, naturally, has created a war between proponents and opponents of the process being offered to distressed youth.

Gender Dysphoria

To begin, we all have a gender identity, that is, the gender in which we ‘feel’ ourselves to be. In some cases, this gender that we feel more comfortable identifying ourselves with may be different than our biologically assigned gender. In this case, a person experiences gender dysphoria, a problem which affects an estimated 0.5% of the population.   Continue reading “Children As Young As Nine To Be Offered Sex Change Hormones Before Puberty”

Medicare can no longer automatically deny coverage requests for sex reassignment surgeries, a federal board ruled today in a groundbreaking decision that recognizes the procedures are medically necessary for people who don’t identify with their biological sex. Ruling in favor of 74-year-old transgender Army veteran Denee Mallon of Albuquerque, whose request to have Medicare pay for her genital reconstruction was denied two years ago, the agency’s Departmental Appeals Board said there was no justification for a three-decade-old HHS rule excluding such surgeries from procedures covered by the national health program for the elderly and disabled.   Continue reading “Medicare Ruling Big Win for Transgender Rights”

On the eve of next week’s expected announcement regarding President Obama’s proposed national energy tax, Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) says the administration has set out to kill coal energy and its 800,000 jobs, as well as that of the Keystone pipeline.

“The Administration has set out to kill coal and its 800,000 jobs. If it succeeds in death by regulation, we’ll all be paying a lot more money for electricity – if we can get it. Our pocketbook will be lighter, but our country will be darker,” Sen. Enzi said.   Continue reading “Senator: ‘Death by Regulation’ Means ‘We’ll All Be Paying a Lot More for Electricity’”

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) just published a statistical study on the amount of derivatives worldwide at the end of 2013, and they reach the astronomical amount of $710 Trillions ($710,000,000,000,000). For comparison purposes, the United States GDP in 2013 amounts to $16 Trillion, or 44 times less. And this mass of derivatives beats by 20% the preceding record, dating just before the 2008 crisis… We hear a lot about bubbles these days, in the stock market, the bond market or in the commodities market, but this one is without a doubt the greatest one.   Continue reading “Amount of Derivatives in the World: 710 Trillions of dollars”

The US House of Representatives overwhelmingly approved legislation mandating sanctions against Venezuela as officials there presented evidence of US involvement in a plot to bring down the government of President Nicolas Maduro.

The bill, passed in a voice vote by the House with only 14 members in opposition, demands that the Obama administration draw up a list of Venezuelan officials allegedly responsible for repression during violent protests that have been organized across the South American country since last February. They would be sanctioned with the freezing of any assets in the US and the denial or revocation of visas.   Continue reading “US moves towards sanctions as Venezuela charges coup plot”

From 6 July it will no longer be possible to hop on a London bus and pay with cash, the capital’s transport body has confirmed.

Transport for London (TfL) cited a “considerable drop” in the number of people who pay for their bus fare using cash as the reason for making London’s buses cashless.

In 2000 around 25 per cent of journeys were paid for with a cash fare, today that figure stands at around one per cent, it said. Continue reading “London buses will go cashless on 6 July”

A troubling Defense Department policy has been uncovered by The Washington Times.  It outlines President Obama’s authority to use military force, arms, and drones in military operations against American Citizens and civil unrest.

”“This appears to be the latest step in the administration’s decision to use force within the United States against its citizens,” said a defense official opposed to the directive.”

These are bold words coming from the defense official, who clearly states their attack is against US citizens. The Directive No. 3025.18, which was issued in December 2010,  has been named, Defense Support of Civil Authorities  and states that U.S. commanders “are provided emergency authority under this directive.”   Continue reading “Govt Kill Switch NOW Enacted: A LEGAL Directive that Can Kill Americans Literally”

Marchers protest thousands of water shut-offs May 23 outside Water Board Building in downtown DetroitVoice of Detroit – by Diane Bukowski

DETROIT —  The State of Michigan’s fascist iron glove is pounding on Detroiters, using mass water shut-offs without notice, and mass concentration camp imprisonment at the Mound Road state facility. There, hundreds are locked into filthy holding rooms without sanitation, proper food, water and medical care, guarded by Michigan Department of Corrections personnel.

That is the horrendous story Charity Hicks told VOD, after her arrest during mass water shut-offs in her east-side neighborhood near Osborn High School. On May 23, members of the People’s Water Board, Moratorium NOW! and others protested the shut-offs outside the Detroit Water Board building as part of a series of weekly “Freedom Fridays.”   Continue reading “Mass Water Shut-Offs, Mass Incarceration At Mound Road Prison For Protesters”

I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.

My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said ‘nothing’. The reason I said that instead of saying ‘just thinking’ is because she would have said ‘about what’. At that point I would have to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics which would lead to other questions.    Continue reading “What deep thinkers men are…”

Caveat, this is not a medical advice nor a gun-control article.

This “List of 45 Mass Murders and Pharma Drugs they were on” is an excellent read, but merely a drop in the bucket compared to other psych-med-violence lists and databases. According to Yahoo Answers: “It is now 1 in 100 in the US not 1 in 150 (rate of ADHD/Autism Births); There are approximately 11,000 children born in the US each day-110 of the children born each day have a form of Autism which breaks down to about every 13.09 minutes a child is born with a form of Autism in the US.”… According to the Center for Disease Control, Canada, pesticides cause ADHD, ADD, Autism and Asperger’s.     Continue reading “Pesticide Control, Psych Drug Control Is Gun Control”
